Training Aid for iExpense Report Audit


Expense Report Audit
According to the policy, expense reports fulfilled the condition will need to be audited before payment.
User APWEBEXPENSE will receive a notification which contains the expense number and other
information when an expense report was submitted.
The audit process can be done by any other user account as long as the audit responsibility is assigned to
it.

Procedure

Step Action
1. Login and navigate to the audit responsibility, i.e. Internet Expense Auditor.
Note: The audit responsibility and the expense report ready for audit need to belong to
the same OU.

2. In the tab Expense Audit, enter the expense report number in the Search by Expense
Report Number field, then click Go button.

3. Another choice to search for expense reports:
1) Click Advanced Search
2) Enter searching criteria and condition into the related fields.
3) Click Go button

4. After find the expense report, review then select the Original Receipts Package
Received Date.

5. Roll down, at the bottom of the page, check the Receipt Verified option for each
expense line, then choose the Expense Report Action:
- Complete the audit:
Choose Complete Audit in the Expense Report Action list, then click the Apply
button.
- Reject the expense report:
Chose Reject Report, choose the Action Reason, and enter Additional
Instructions for more details if needed. Then click the Apply button.
6. End of the procedure.
