Who We Are

We provide life changing Christ centred events for Catholic Young Adults & Adults (21+ yrs) in
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

By becoming a GTA Catholic Events member, young adults develop strong connections with
their peers, try diverse activities, help in the community & develop spiritually.

What We Believe

Mission: “Creating events that make you fully alive in Christ.”

Living fully alive for Christ is an exciting journey that is life altering.

It is our mission to create moments for young people to be fully content, free, and fully alive in
Christ and living God’s glory. Our events help young adults live fully extraordinary experiences
and build community and faith.

What We Do

Being catholic is a lifestyle. We promote activities that help catholic young adults celebrate their
catholic identity in a fun and welcoming atmosphere to accompany them as they grow deeper in
their spirituality.

We provide a supportive community where catholic young adults can get to know their peers
and connect in meaningful ways.

GTA Catholic Programs and Events

1) Catholic Social Events

These social events are designed to introduce participants to new people, experiment with
different activities, and sample hot spots in the city and fellowship with other like-minded
catholics.

2) Catholic Rosary Prayer Group

This recurring event was created to give catholic young adults a place to practice their
spirituality on a regular basis. We pray the rosary and other prayers. Once a month we go out
for dinner together.

3) Catholic Networking Events (NEW 2020)

These events are for catholic young professionals looking to network with other catholics
working in the GTA. It is a way to meet new contacts and connect on a spiritual level as well.

4) Catholic Spiritual Retreats/Workshops

The main purpose for our retreats are to take time away to reflect and spend moments with
God. Workshops are offered to provide education to build faith and spirituality.

5) Catholic Wellness Events

Spirituality and wellness are very important aspects of our lives. We provide educational
sessions to help our members learn more about how spirituality is connected to our overall
well-being and provide tools for optimal health.

6) Catholic Group Volunteering Events

When we serve others, we serve God. This is a vital part of living a Christian life. We provide
opportunities for members to join group volunteering activities around the city. Places we have
supported include: St Francis Table, Good Shepherd Ministries, Providence Healthcare and The
Scott Mission.

7) Catholic Singles Events (NEW 2020)

We provide events for singles to meet and get to know each other in a variety of social settings.
We also have educational sessions to learn about relationships, God’s view on love and
marriage, vocations and much more.

 GTA Catholic Events

8) Catholic Rosary Making Group

A few times a year we have classes to teach catholic young adults the beautiful art of rosary
making. Here they also learn the history and importance of the rosary. Every participant takes at
least one rosary home.

9) Catholic Pilgrimages (NEW 2020)

We offer a pilgrimage every year for members. Pilgrimages are special moments to be with God
and share with catholic peers. It is a great chance to get away from busy lives and reconnect
with God and our spiritual side.
