Where can I find my request code?

The request code is generated by the software during the installation and is linked to the hardware
configuration of your PC. If anything changes in the configuration (the system is upgraded, the system is
reset, etc.), the software generates a new request code.

There are two ways to request an activation code:

You can request an activation code using the link above. This is an online request.
You will need to enter information in several fields. Once you have entered the information, you can
send your request.

You will receive your activation code by post within 48 hours.

The disadvantage is that it does not include any information on how to activate your activation code
once you've received it.

The link above opens instructions on how to request and activate the activation code online. If the fields
have been correctly completed, you will receive your activation code straightaway.
The request procedure is as follows.

1. Go to register.autodesk.com and sign in using your Autodesk Account information. If you don't have
an Autodesk Account, follow the onscreen prompts to create one.

Note: The Product Registration & Activation website requires an Autodesk ID to sign in and not your
email address. If you don't know your Autodesk ID, sign in at accounts.autodesk.com using your email
address and password to view your ID, which is listed under Profile/Security Settings.

Select your Operating System and enter your Serial Number. (Enter the serial number of the product for
which the activation code is being requested. If you are an Autodesk software customer, you should
select: “Activate a product purchased through a supplier”. If you are a reseller requesting the code for a
customer, you should select: “Activate a product purchased by a customer”.) Click Next.

2. Select the product that matches the serial number you entered. Click Next.

Select an existing account or enter new account information. This is the name and address you wish to
use for your software registration. (Enter the account number (CSN number) or
complete all fields manually, (note: the information entered must precisely match that held by Autodesk,
otherwise Autodesk will not “recognise” the account)). Click Next.

3. Verify your registration information and enter your Request Code where prompted. Click Next.

4. Print or save your registration information, especially your Activation Code. You'll enter this
information when you activate your software manually from the Free Trial screen.
