Pre-Activities (2 minutes)
In set induction I will use the combination from both of apperception and
brain-storming form in order to make the students remember and understand
about the previous lesson and the lesson that is going to be taught.
The narration:
Good morning students, how are you?
Oke class, I have some questions about our last meeting. Who can answer my
questions will get a point from me. Anyone knows what is the generic
structure of narrative text? Yes, that’s right the generic structures of narrative
text are orientation, complication, resolution and the last is re-orientation. And
then, how about the tenses that used in narrative text? excellent, the tenses that
we use is simple past tense. Allright, I’m so happy because all of you still
remember about our previous lesson, and today I want to teach you about
descriptive text. Anyone knows what announcement text is? Allright,
descriptive text is a text that describes something, for example, look at that
whiteboard, what is the shape? It is rectangular right, then how about the
colour of the board? It is white right, and the last, where is the location of the
whiteboard? It is in the middle of the front class right. So, from those
questions we can make a descriptive text about whiteboard. Now, I hope all of
you already understand about descriptive text.

The material that is going to be used is the students’ favorite place. Because every
students probably have a different favorite places from each other. In order to
teach the students about listening ability, the teacher will read a description about
her/his favorite place, after that, the students should retell about the teacher
description with their own words. Then, in order to teach the students speaking
ability, they are invited to describe or tell about their favorite place.
6. After that, the teacher asks some volunteer to come in front of the class, to
tell or describe about their pair’s favorite place.
Evaluation
In order to make the students more understand about the material, the teacher
gives some test beside that, teacher also provides a speaking scoring rubric and
the key answer for scoring (attached)
Listening Skill
1. Listen to the teacher dictation. Then, answer the following questions
below.

Post-Activities (2 minutes)
In this section, teacher gives a chance to the students to ask some questions
dealing with the topic of the day. After that teacher gives a conclusion about the
material. The last, teacher gives an assignment to the students as a homework.
