Material:
1 Rivoli 18mm
14 frepolished beads 4mm (FP)
7 Bicones 4mm (Bic4)
7 Bicones 3mm (Bic3)
7 round beads 6mm (RB6)
7 round beads 3mm (RB3)
2g Rocailles size 11 (R11)
1g Rocailles size 15 (R15)

Use a good tension of thread for this project.

Step 1
Pick up 2FP, 1R11 alternating 7 times and build a circle. Weave another 2 times
through the beads until the thread is fxed. At the end the thread should exit in
front of a R11.

Step 2
Pick up 3R11, skip the R11 of the previous step and weave through the following
2FP. Repeat another 6 times to complete the circle, at the end the thread should
exit from a R11 of the frst step.

Step 3
Pick up 2R15, 1R11, 1RB3, 1R11, 2R15, skip the 2 FP and weave through the
following R11 (of the frst step). Repeat another 6 times, at the end the thread
should exit from a R11, in front of a R15.

Step 4
Pick up 1Bic3 and weave through the R11, RB3, R11 of the following arc. Repeat
another 6 times to complete the row. At the end, the thread should exit in front
of a Bic3.

Step 5
Pick up 4R15, skip the Bic of the previous row and weave through the following
3 beads (1R11, 1RB3, 1R11). Repeat another 6 times to complete the row. At the
end, exit from the 2nd of 4R15.

Step 6
Add 1R15 in the middle of each group of 4R15. 7 times until the circle is
fnished. At the end weave back to the basic circle, the thread should exit in
between the middle of 2FP.

Step 6a
Where the layout left a big space here, we make an additional step. Take a piece
of chocolate, enjoy it, then turn page and go on beading.

Where there is still some space left.... take a second piece ;-)
But now back to beads!

Step 7
Turn the piece around, we go on working from the backside. Put the Rivoli into
the vessel, upside down. Then pick up 1R15, 4R11, 1R15 and stitch in between
the next 2FP under the thread to the outside and over the thread back to the
middle, passing through the R15. The beading thread slings around the thread
passing through the 2FP. Pull the thread carefully so it can slip between the 2FP.
Take care not to damage the thread. Pick up 4R11, 1R15 and repeat steps at the
next pair of 2FP. At the end weave forward, once in a circle through all the R11
of this round, the thread should exit from a group of 4R11, in front of a R15.

Step 8
Pick up 1R15, 1R11, 1R15 and weave through the following 4R11. Repeat
another 6 times. At the end the thread should exit from the frst R11 added in
this row.

Step 9
Pick up 5R11 and weave through the R11 at the peak on the outside (this is the
middle of 3R11 added in the second step). Pick up 5R11 and weave through the
next R11 in the middle (of the previous step). Repeat for another 6 times to
complete the row. At the end the thread should exit from the second bead
following the R11 at the peak (outside).

8

Step 10
Pick up 1RB6 and weave through the 4th and 5th R11 of the next group of 5
heading to the outside. The thread exits in front of the R11 at the peak (step 2).
Pick up 3R15, skip the R11 at the peak and weave through the following 2R11.
Repeat steps another 6 times. Then weave forward, the thread should exit from
a RB6.

9

Step 11

Pick up 2R15, 1Bic4, 2R15

and weave through the
following RB6. Repeat
another 6 times to complete
the row. Weave several
times through the beads of
this step to fx the thread.

Finally you build a little loop from 5R11 on the

backside to mount the pendant with a jump
ring to a chain.

Happy Beading
