Dated:- 12.06.2019 Subject: - Revival of “Zonal Audit Committee” constituted at Zone for settlement of Outstanding Audit Paras, Reference is invited to this Directorate communication No.22/1-1/2018-19/IU dated 31.10.2018 wherein Zonal Audit Committee was re-constituted for expeditious settlement of outstanding audit paras. As per the decision taken in the 4" Audit Committee Meeting of DG: AIR under the Chairmanship of DG (AIR), the composition of Regional Audit Committee has been revised as per the details given below:~ Composition of new Zonal Audit Committee will be as under : 1. Chairman 2. Co-Chairman 3. Member 4, Member 5. Nodal Officer 6. Secretarial support Concerned regional ADG (P) of the respective zone (In absence of ADG (P) concerned regional ADG (E) will be the chairperson), Sr. most ADG (E) of respective Zone. If ADG(E) is Chairperson, Sr. most DDG(P) and in his absence Sr. most DDG(E) will be the Co-Chairman. |.) Head of all Capital station in the Zone. I1,) A representative of the concerned Principal Audit Office. DD (P)/ DD (E) or AD(P) / AD(E) of Zonal ADG (P) office or from Capital Station in the Zone. He will co-ordinate activity of Audit outstanding paras / meetings with all members and Station / offices of the Zone. Concerned ADG(P)/ ADG (E) may take services of Sr. A.0./A.0 of Zonal Station or from the nearest AIR stations, The regional ADG (P)s/ ADG(E)s so proposed as Chairman/ Co-Chairman are requested to reconstitute the Zonal Audit Committee as per the above composition and compliance may be sent to this Directorate immediately. It is also requested to issue an office order regarding constitution of Z.A.C. to all concerned head of units falling under their zone. Ccontd..P/2=23 The committee will hold quarterly meeting to review all pending Audit/ inspection paras relating to ‘Administration/ Programme/Engineering of all stations/units in the zone and ensure that the replies to Audit/ Inspection observations are given at the earliest by concerned unit.
