IV. PROCEDURES
1. Preparation
 Motivational Activity – The teacher pick some student who will present their Journals in front and
tell us something about their motto in life.

2. Activity
 On a sheet of paper, the student will make reflections on their first day in the classroom through
emoji with brief explanation. Since this is a self-reflection, the teacher will ask if it is Okay for
them to share in class. If not, they just pass it to the teacher.(5 minutes)
3. Discussion
 What is Journal?
 The Purpose of Journal Writing
4. Abstraction/Generalization
 Let the student realize the importance of journal writing as a student and as a developing
individual.
5. Evaluation
 What is/are the importance of journal to you as a student?
6. Assignment/Agreement – Journal Activity
 What have you discovered in yourself?
 What are your core strengths?
 What are the qualities you want to hone and improve on?
Agreement : The teacher collects journal every last meeting of the week.

 Draw a large circle on a blank sheet of paper. Divide the circle into 8 segments. In each
segment, write some descriptions of the different aspects of yourself as follows:
