Petitioner: Meenatchi wife of Murugan ,Hindu, aged about 35 years, now

residing at Kizhandarai village, Arakkonam taluk, vellore district, which is in the
Jurisdiction of this Hon’ble court

The address for services of all notices and processes on the petitioners are that of
her counsels C. MANICKAM B.COM BL AND C. SARAVANAN BABL having office at
5/3, Nehruji nagar, 6th street, Arakkonam, Vellore district.

RESPONDENT: Murugan son of Govindhasamy, Hindu, aged about 46 years,

residing at Pillaiyar koil street, Thangavelpuram, Thattaparai, Gudiyatham taluk,
Vellore district.

The address for services of all notices and process on the respondent is as stated
above.

The petitioner submits that the marriage between the petitioner and the
respondent was solemnized on 27/10/2006 at Vellore, senpakkam sri selva
vinayakar temple, according to Hindu marriage rites and customs as arranged
marriage.

The petitioner submits that they lived together as husband and wife at respondent
house, since the marriage the respondent never showed any affection and
behaved inhumanly, the respondent is not interested in family life and not willing
to cohabitation and therefore there is no issue due to wedlock.
 The petitioner submits that the respondent is suspecting the chastity of the
petitioner and attacked brutally so many times when she questioned about
another lady’s illegal relationship.

The petitioner submits that she tolerated all arrogant attitude of the respondent
and attempted to rectify him but all the efforts went on in vein, and the
respondent deserted the petitioner without assigning any reason 2 years back.

The petitioner submits that every day the respondent and his family members by
way of stating the poorness of the petitioner and her family thereby the
respondent deserted the petitioner and failed to take care for the petitioner.

The petitioner submits that so many times she and her parents requested the
respondent to consider about at least the welfare and future of the petitioner and
cohabit with the petitioner but he vehemently failed to discharge his duty as
husband.

The petitioner submits that she is now striving for livelihood and she is not
working anywhere and not having any means for her livelihood and facing blood
pressure due to lack in taking nutrition food and struggling for basic amenities like
food and cloth.

The petitioner submits that the respondent is working in private concern and
earning more than 20,000/- per month and having property worth of some cores
having ancestral property, the respondent legally bound to give maintenance who
is wantonly and willingly neglected and refused to maintain the petitioner.

It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble court may be pleased to order maintenance
as well as alimony per month Rs. 10,000/- [Ten thousand only] for the petitioner
for her livelihood and for medical expenses and further order this court deems fit
and proper of the case thereby render justice.
