HUAMANTANGA

 The houses

I think that the houses in Huamantanga are very

traditional, and it fascinates me because they give a

more traditional motive to this city. Their houses are built

of adobe and rest on wooden pillars. Its balconies and

tiles on its roofs are unmistakable as they adorn each of

the houses very well.

The people

The people are very friendly, hospitable, educated and

above all very devoted to the Lord of Huamantanga.

They usually wear very warm with their coats and their

wool caps, because in any season of the year it is

always cold. They are mainly engaged in agriculture to

the cultivation of goose, broad beans, olluco, wheat,

maize and potatoes, and in the livestock they develop

remarkably raising goats, cattle and sheep.

 The weather

Its climate is cold and dry. The day is hot and at night it

is very cold. The rainy season goes from December to

April and the dry season starts in May and ends in

November. I did not manage to adapt easily to the

weather, although some people manage to do it

quickly. That was not my case.
