Generate new business through aggressive prospecting through cold calling (to decision makers),
networking, referrals, industry events, conferences, etc.
Research prospective clients through several strategies including social media research, trade
shows, various professional directories, and personal investigation.
Identify prospects and take the necessary actions to win new business and provide customer
support.
Prepare quotes for customers and follow-up with them to close the deal.
Develop and manage sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, and reporting.
BDM will consult with the Head of Operations (regarding pricing, identify new methods to win new
clients, budget, marketing materials, negotiations, etc.).
Keep records of cold calling, orders, accounts, and present them to the Head of Operations.
Set and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practices.
Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop and promote the
company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Create, maintain and leverage client relationships
Create accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers,
addresses and various other information.
Formulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
