So far in my experience at the Latin Music Project has

been great. I’ve gotten to learn a lot about latin music
that I enjoy to play. With my short time of being here, I
already found myself wanting to continue to play at
PRAA. I wish to continue spending my time here playing
the music.

The Latin Music Project has positively influenced my life

by constantly exposing me to new challenging music.
This has helped me become better at being a musician
and has helped me learn how to practice. PRAA has also
helped by giving me opportunities to perform live.

many different events. They have also improved my
playing skills and educated me on music theory topics.

The Latin Music Project offers a variety of programing
for children and youth ages 4-18. Through our
programming they learn a vast amount of repertoire
and get exposure to music from all Latin America.
Children and youth are exposed to master classes and
concerts by visiting artists and get the chance to also
perform live on stage as part of the curriculum that we
offer. Currently we offer lessons for the Puerto Rican
cuatro, guitar and violin and in the future we are
looking forward to adding new instruments to teach
such as percussion and piano.
