Core Subject Description: Evolution of our understanding of matter, motion, electricity, magnetism, light, and the universe from ancient times to the present; applications of physics and chemistry concepts in contexts
such as atmospheric phenomena, cosmology, astronomy, vision, medical instrumentation, space technology, drugs, sources of energy, pollution and recycling, fitness and health, and cosmetics.

Culminating Performance Standard: Students will organize a PRODUCT BAZAAR in which a chosen personal care and household product will be showcased. In their product presentation, it will include the uses,
properties, mode of action, and precautions. The CPS shall focus on the students’ problem solving, communication, communication and technology, and creative and critical thinking skills.

Performance Task:
As an advocacy campaign manager of the Philippine Consumer Watch Foundation Incorporated, you will design an informative print or digital media that details the CHEMICAL
PROPERTIES OF DIFFERENT PRODUCTS COMMONLY USED IN EVERYDAY LIFE which will be released to the general public. The print or digital media should include precautionary measures
to observe when dealing or using these products so as to maintain a healthier lifestyle. The output to be orally presented should be informative and accurate, creative, clear and organized.
