DRY WALL PARTITION WORKS

Note:
1) Control joints to be incorporated wherever the length of the partitions
is more than 10m.
2) All GI steel to be marked with "GYPSTEEL" which is a standard
hologram of India gypsum.
3) For locations of wall hung storages, acoustical panels, white boards,
soft boards additional framework GI frame work with seasoned sal wood
infill as per manufacturer's specifications should be included in the rate
4) Angle beads have to be used at the external angles to get straight line
and finish and protection from impacts.
5) Edge beads have to be used to protect the exposed edges of
Gypboard. The edges can be at the opening for doors, windows, glazing,
etc or any other exposed edges.
6) The cost of laminate, veneer given below is the landed cost of the
material, with all taxes, delivery, transport and all taxes thereon
7) Drywall specification and installation technique have to carry end
installation warranty of performance through a spec sure certificate as
per manufacturer's specifications. These warranty includes two random
checks during material delivery stage and two at the execution stage
8) Joints in Glass partition to be filled with clear acoustical sealant of
approved make. All openings for ducts, pipes should be sealed with fire
sealant of approved make as per manufacturer's specifications. The cost
of fire seals to be included in the rate for partitions
9) The cost to include making 10mm wide grooves finished with 10mm
thick approved seasoned wood and finished in matching laminate finish
wherever shown in the generic drawings
10) GI Chicken mesh for holding the glass wool to to be 22 gauge
