I am Nadia Fitri Amalia, people ussualy call me Dea.

I was born in Kerinci, precisely

in the town of Sungai Penuh, on January 12, 2000. I was the first child of three siblings. I
have one younger sister and one younger brother. My younger sister is named Aziza she is
currently studying in a high school. And my younger brother Hisham, he just started his
education in elementary school.

Both of my parents work as Civil Servants or Prison Officer located in my town. My

mother worked in the health department as a nurse at the Prison, while my father as the
staff commander there.

I started my education in kindergarten in 2003. In kindergarten, I spent three years

studying. After that, in 2006 I was admitted to Elementary School by parents and graduated
in 2012. Furthermore, in 2013 I continued my junior high school education until 2015. In the
same year, I continued my education to the High School and graduated in 2018.

Still in the same year, in 2018, I continued to study at a higher level in West Sumatra,
Padang, namely at the Bung Hatta University Educational Foundation, the best private
university in Sumatra. Now, I am a student at the University with a study program that I
chose Primary School Teacher Education .

Since sitting in the elementary school, I got an achievement in the form of the top
three in the class, and Alhamdulillah, this achievement lasted until I was in high school. I
have also received parallel rankings several times at the junior high school level, besides the
artistic achievements that I have received are creations in the city level between schools.

Since I was a child, I lived with my parents, and this is my first time trying to live
abroad. I have a hobby of watching movies and singing. I am the type of person who spends
more time in the room or bedroom. It's not because I hate crowds or anti-social, it's just that
it is a pleasure for me. Besides that, I also often spend time playing guitar to fill my free time
and relax.

I have aspirations to become an educator or a teacher especially elementary school

teachers. These dreams have been embedded since I was little. Of course I have my own
reasons for choosing those ideals. First, I know that being a teacher is a noble job. Besides
that, I also like children.

The dream that I had dreamed of before, also received encouragement and full
support from the closest people, especially my mother and father. Actually my dream is not
just as a teacher or educator, but I also dream of being a motivator who can give enthusiasm
and motivation to many people. I really want to be a virus or a big influence for everyone,
the virus here is certainly in a positive sense so that other people become motivated and
enthusiastic in doing useful and useful things.

Why does VDMI have to choose me as a scholarship recipient?

That's because the most important thing is, with this scholarship, I can help reduce the
burden on my parents in terms of costs and also increase motivation to be able to contribute
using the scholarship.
 Although both of my parents work as Civil Servants, the income they earn is also not
worth the cost of my education, and my parents' income is also cut by a few percent because
of the bank loans made by my parents. Not to mention for my two younger siblings who are
still educated at the school, which also costs a lot.

Besides that, I am a overseas child who lives in a boarding house, where the cost of a
cheap boarding house also makes my parents pay a lot of money. For that, I really hope that
with this VDMI scholarship, I can greatly ease the burden on my parents and become a
trigger for me to continue to get good achievements.

If I am chosen as the recipient of this scholarship, I will use this scholarship as well as
possible to support my process of becoming a scholar. In addition, I will study harder again
in order to improve my achievements in the future and to be able to raise the rank of my
parents and make them happy. Beside that, I can get free bonus TOEFL tutorial. I hope
learning TOEFL can improve my English skills which are needed by the time I graduated.

I also hope that I can become a cumlaude student and get the best GPA so that I can
give pride to my parents. And If I receive VDMI Scholarship, I will give some what i have
gotten such as material and knowledge. I also want to hold sosial faith, i will give
knowledge to people whom needed like pauper and child who less fortune.

With this VDMI scholarship, I also have the intention to be able to save the money
that I earned to continue the master program , so that I can become a more educated person,
and also remember my parents who did not continue their education to higher education ,
they really hope that I can continue my education to a higher level and more success than
them, and the hope that I really want to realize is to continuing education in the master’s
program with my own tuition fees.

I Hope be able received for scholarship towards fluency to join this college and i can
reach a dream in my life to be succes person. Because reach a dream need fight to make it
happen. If just ask for parrents it’s impossible to occur.

Not only for my parents, I also aspire to be a person who is more useful to society,
environment, nation and country. In accordance with my ideals, if realized, I will be a
teacher who is trustworthy and responsible. I will educate, guide and direct my students
and be a good people, so that they are more successful than me and can realize the ideals
they dreams.
