Do you believe that there is actual rebellion in Mindanao, which


necessitated the extension of Martial Law up to the end of
2019?

2. In the provinces, there are many cases wherein beneficiaries of


4Ps or the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program would use
their cash grants to finance their gambling, alcoholism and
other vices. Some would even pawn their ATMs to loan sharks
or actually give the same to pay off debts. As a Senator, how
will you address this loophole in the program?

3. Does a child trafficker who subjects his victims who are as


young as 4 years old, to child pornography and rape deserve
death penalty?

4. Can you reveal to us one character flaw you have which will
affect your work as a Senator? And how will you deal with it?

5. It has been said that RA 9262 or the Violence Against Women


and Children Act is one of the greatest achievements in law to
protect Women’s Rights. There is however a clamor among
men particularly, that this law is unfair to them. Do you agree? If
so, is there anything in the law, which you seek to amend?

6. How will you guarantee to us that when elected, you will not
engage in graft and corrupt practices?

7. Mindanao has some of the most impoverished provinces in the


country, what do you think is the root cause of this socio-
economic problem and how will you address this as a Senator?

In the recent Bangsamoro Plebiscite, Sulu rejected the
BOL, yet it shall have no impact on the region as a
provision in the BOL does not allow for any ARMM
province to “opt out” of the new BARMM. Is the said
provision not a curtailment on the constitutional rights of
the Sulu people to choose?

Majority of the cities in Mindanao use “tricycle”, “pedicab”


or “trisikad” as a form of commute. Based from public
experience, most of the drivers have been unruly,
disrespectful, and have lost sight of their primary purpose,
which is public convenience. How can you regulate and/or
improve public transportation vis-a-vis the current form
and in what way?
