Tree made out of me!

Have you ever questioned yourself, “What will happen to the earth in the
next few years?” Of course you did! We all did. We had wondered what our
surroundings would look like in the near future, how innovated it is, we even
asked what would our future generations would look like? But the real question
is, what are we doing?

Plastic is a non bio-degradable substance. It doesn’t get disposed off in soil

or water and its effect is worse when burnt. It doesn’t dissolve on its own; it’ll
stay in wherever you left it, for hundreds and hundreds of years. At this very
moment, tons and tons of plastic are being
thrown everywhere. Animals are dying
because of plastic ingestion. Pollution is
everywhere — water, soil, and even air. It will
cause more havoc in the next few years if
neglected. More plastics in the water drainage,
more flood after the rains. More plastics to be
produced more contaminated air for us to breathe. Even the littlest plastic we
throw anywhere can make a big impact to our environment. People care less,
until they see the consequences of their own doings. Where is the promise of a
good future for the next generation if at this time, we continue to ruin the limited
resources we have.

Worry no more! We can make a big difference.

My colleague and I came up with this idea after realizing that the earth is in
a really bad shape. We agreed to make a product that
is useful not only for humans, but also for our
environment. A tree planting plastic! This thing here
is a biodegradable plastic that can grow a tree after its
decomposition. Our biodegradable plastic
contains easily decomposed materials such as
gypsum and other simple organic sulphates. As
well as the seedlings that will become a tree
afterwards. In addition, we’ve come up with this idea
because as a Humanities and Social Sciences
(HUMSS) student, we must not care only for our
personal gain. Instead, we must love and protect the limited resources that we
have. And for the record, our biodegradable tree planting plastic might be the
answer for our waste problems!
