1. WHAT SPECIFIC SKILLS HAVE YOU USED AT YOUR COMMUNITY SITE?

Having an opportunity to have communication or pastoral, if we may considered, in

partner communities is a great privilege to students like us who are craving for more learnings.

As a graduating students, I consider all my past learnings and realizations in life as my

instrument in order use for helping and sharing those experiences. In other words, the specific

skill that I have used in our community sites is the communication skill that I possess after all

that I have acquired in my past years in staying at SAC. Hence, being a sociable is very

important for me. How can I have bonding with those children in Gawad Kalinga, for instance, if

we will not communicate to them or even just talk to them and having a sharing with them?

Moreover, having a communication skill I possess, it is possible that the people/children

in the partner communities could have something to learn from me and I from them, vice versa.

For me it is already enough. And so, for us to have something to give from the other partnership

of SAC we must have in ourselves a foundations of some kind of learnings not just in our studies

at SAC but the learnings within us which is we have acquired through our own personal

refletion, experiences and realizations in our daily life activities.

As a result, it is all just but a matter of “give and take”, for despite of all the learnings we

have; even if we think that it is already enough, we still have some things that we don’t know

where we could find even in small things. Thus, we must not make things for granted cause as I

have said, we can still learn even in lesser things, that sometimes can led us into greater things.

2. WHAT HAVE YOU CONTRIBUTED TO THE PARTNER COMMUNITIES?

In the other one reflection (What specific skills have you used at your community site?), it is

being discussed that I have this communication skill that have used to be with them and by that I

have shared a lot from them and I have my own learnings from them also.

Consequently, I have built up a kind of friendship from them, have a mutuality and

relations in them. And this now what I consider as my contribution to the partner communities of

SAC I have gone through, simple as that.

Lastly, the good memories and remembrance we have put together while we are there

could at time be our tool for some events in our continue living. Those experiences could also

make us more mature and flexible in facing any instances in our future lifecycle.
