The electrical system of the Business Class M2 utilizes multiplexing.

This means that you must follow


different rules than you would with a conventional electrical system. The following is a listing of
special “Do’s” and “Don’ts” to keep in mind when making alterations to the Business Class M2
electrical system:

Clean Battery Power Use open Mega-Fuse at battery Use existing fuses in underhood PDM
Ignition Power Use Ignition splice pack in dash Exceed 5 amps on splice pack. Tie
directly into the ignition switch
Accessory Power Exceed 5 amps
Dimmable Lighting Use Circuit 29A splice pack in dash Exceed 5 amps on splice pack.
Ground Use Ground splice pack in Dash. Use weld Exceed 10 amps on the splice pack.

CB Radio Add fuse in underhood PDM Tie into cigar lighter
Remote throttle Tie directly into engine ECU
Engine Oil Sensor Use engine-specific application guide
Speedo Sensor Use dual wound speed sensor for manual
transmissions. Output from Allison ECU.
J1587 or J1939 Speedo.
Parking Brake Add auxiliary switch B module in the AMU Splice into the parking brake input

Backup lights Use pin C1-H and add a relay Exceed 6 amps
Clearance/Marker/Tail Lamps Use Body Builder Connector or connector Exceed 10 amps
C4-M
Dome Lamp Tie into connector B5-1 Exceed 1 amp
Fog Lamp Use pin C3-C and C3-D Exceed 7 amps
Headlamps Check data book for Plow Lamps and Wig Do not add loads
Wag options
Stop Lamps/Brake Switch Use Body Builder Connector, or tie into Tie directly into stop lamp
ground at AMP or Chassis Module C2-D
Turn Signals Use Body Builder Connector or tie into Exceed 1 amp for each output of the
chassis module C2-E and C2-H chassis module
Neutral Switch Output from Allison transmission module. Splice into existing wiring
