Drawing in Excel

1. Find a picture from the internet. Yes, that means go to Google


and search for a picture. This can be any picture that isn’t
pixelated. Pixilated pictures look like this:

2. After you find the picture cut and paste it into your spreadsheet.

3. Highlight all cells by clicking on the little square between the


column and row.

4. Next you need to set your margins up to create square cells


instead of rectangles. Margins need to be set to:
a. Row height 10
b. Column width to 2

2. Select “Column Width” 2. Select “Row Height”
3. Set new Width 3. Set new Height
4. Click “Okay” 4. Click “Okay”
5. Zoom down to 10%. This will create what looks like a blank
white sheet of paper. But they are tiny squares called, Pixels.
**This step is important. If you skip this step you will run out of room**

6. Using the colorfill icon, add color to individual or multiple cells


re-creating the picture you have chosen.

7. Save As: Your Last Name, Drawing #
