Greetings on behalf of Lex Sanguinis Incorporated (LSI)!

Bonded by passion for the law, the LSI, a non-profit organization of law students and graduates, is organized to promote
collective support through professional, academic, social and community-based programs across Ilocos Norte by providing
access to quality legal knowledge and services, especially to the less privileged members of society. We are writing to share
information about LSI’s key programs and projects for this year which is the Legal Clinic and the 2019 Bar Operations. We
hope that you share our vision and feel inspired to support our efforts!

The Legal Clinic is a community-based program of the organization aimed to provide pro bono legal consultation and lectures
regarding relevant laws to chosen barangays in Ilocos Norte. With the success of our initial Legal Clinic conducted last April
8, 2018 and April 9, 2019 at Brgy. Bungon, City of Batac and Brgy. 10 San Paulo, San Nicolas, respectively, we wish to
continue this program by targeting more barangays and participants. We believe that when people are educated with their rights
provided under our laws, they become more dignified, involved and empowered members of society. Likewise, the Legal
Clinic supplements our law student members’ legal training, knowledge and even ethics.

On the other hand, the 2019 Bar Operations is aimed primarily to aid our members who will be taking the 2019 Bar
Examinations this November. Through this program, our goal is to foster a network of academic, moral and financial support –
in an effort to help our bar candidates to effectively navigate the stress of Bar Review and the Examinations and ultimately, be
confident in their careers as future members of the legal profession.

In support of these programs, the organization is planning to have a Block Screening of the movie “LION KING” on July 20,
2019, (6-8 PM time slot) at Movieworld, Robinson’s Place Ilocos Norte, Cinema 4/5/6 as a fund raising activity. Aside from
the movie screening, there will also be pre-screening activities such as a photo booth and games. All proceeds from the event
will finance this year’s key programs as previously discussed.
