Summary- This article explores the influence of business incubation in early stage firms.

This debate remains almost entirely gender blind. In accordance to this, the article takes a fem-

inist perspective to reveal business incubation. Business incubation can be defined as the build

up or the economic development of a relatively new firm. The goal of this article is to analyze

how this process is for these new firms when it comes to biases like gender. The article con-

cludes that there is not a huge issue for women, but there are other problems in the incubation

process that need to be attacked.
