DR 2030 – the robust endurance runner

Our DR 2030 dot-matrix printer provides you with better value, parti-
cularly in the long run. Using 9 or 24 needles, this printer is ideal for
continuous operation in any industrial environment.
Designed for a medium output rate, our new printer generation offers
you improved paper handling, an increased printing speed (360 cps
at 10cpi) and is highly cost-efficient.
The robust quality of our DR 2030 becomes obvious when conside-
ring its throughput rate: with 300 pages per hours, it caters for a
monthly volume of up to 10,000 pages. The printer is designed for
continuous-form printing (straight paper path), carbon copy production
with up to 5 copies, label printing and printing on envelopes and card-
board. Our endurance runner also includes automatic form
detection and manual single sheet feed.

High printing speed at a low noise level combined with a wide range
of options - our DR 2040 multifunctional printer series demonstrates
what can be achieved with dot-matrix technology. The printing speed
is 450 cps, which corresponds to an output of 400 pages per hour. In
other words, you can produce 24,000 pages with up to six carbon
copies per month at very low costs.
There is more to our all-rounder series: automatic print head settings
that recognise paper weights and select the correct path and the
two interfaces (parallel and serial) that are standard are just two
examples of its versatility. The parallel and serial ports allow you to
connect several PCs to one printer, whereby printing jobs are hand-
led according to the principle of ”first come, first serve“
. And this
actually works irrespective of whether you wish to print on forms,
labels, envelopes or more tricky materials. Quite clever, isn’t it?

DR 7070 – the large-format artist

Artists can be prickly types. This does however not apply to the
printers of our DR 7070 series. To switch from black&white pro-
duction to full colour printing, simply exchange the monochrome
print head against a colour print head.
The DR 7070 can be used for a wide range of applications, be it
printing on single sheets, films up to format DIN A2 or continuous-
form paper up to a width of 405 mm. There is also no problem in
printing on posters up to a size of 431 x 558 mm. Our artists are
thereby extremely versatile as they provide best quality print for
both text and graphics on a variety of materials. With an output rate
of 7 pages per minute, they are even suitable for use in offices.

DR 3016 – the comfort sprinter

Finally a printer that combines the speed of a dot-matrix printer with

the output quality and the low nose level of a laser printer. But this is
not all: The DR 3016 also provides you with the cost advantages of
a high-performance dot-matrix printer and is extremely versatile as
regards paper formats. With an output rate of 1000 pages per hour
and a printing speed of up to 1800 characters per second, our com-
fort sprinter is simply the fastest ink-jet printer on the market.
As its paper path is straight, you can also easily print onto envelopes,
labels, high-weight paper and even light cardboard. The numerous
automatic functions ensure that the different types of paper can be
processed without any paper jams or other problems. As the
DR 3016 automatically detects the correct paper feed, it immediately
switches between feed tractor and friction transport for individual
sheets, whenever required. To connect our comfort sprinter to the
IBM environment, you can use coax or Twinex solutions. For network
connection, the printer is equipped with an Ethernet interface.
