Encryption & Decryption of Bid
1. Bid Encryption

Encrypt and secure the sensitive data in the bid responses submitted by online
bidders.
It also ensures the confidentiality and validity of the tender by preventing
unauthorized access to the price.

 Bidder enter the price details like basic price, discounts at item level & after
pressing check button, Data gets encrypted.
 The encrypted data is stored in separate tables.
 While submitting the response Digital signature is required as mandatory to
authenticate the user & the response is submitted in encrypted form.

2. Digital Signature for Bidding

A digital signature enables you to identify the sender, verify that the message has
not been altered, and supports in non-repudiation, where a sender cannot deny
signing the document.

This ensures that the business processes are legally bound.

Tender documents like RFx, RFx responses use digital signatures. This ensures the
integrity of the data and process.
1 Bid Decryption

1.1 Permission

The purchaser can allow multiple users to approve the RFx response opening
process by simultaneously logging on to the system using a Password within a
given time period.

This allows to introduce multi-party verification into the RFx response opening
process.

Before starting the simultaneous logon process, the purchaser must assign
participants the necessary permissions for their role in the process.
1.2 Bid Decryption

Once the opening date is reached purchaser then initiates the simultaneous logon
process. At the same time system sends an e-mail notification to all openers &
informing them about the initiation of technical bid opening and to open the
technical bid. After initiation, the approvers, in this case, the RFx response openers,
must approve the opening process by logging on to the Simultaneous Logon
Application.

When all openers approves the opening process, the system updates the process
overview with the status successful and makes the RFx response decrypt & The
Decrypted price bids can be accessed through Price Comparison Statement and
available for the evaluation process, the system trigger an email notification to
evaluator & informing to start evaluation.

 Additionally, before bid opening and before submission dead line if Bidders
wanted to change their encrypted bid then Bidders must select RFx & enter
System randomly generated OTP & select the response number & click on
edit.
 This ensures bidder can view/modify his own data before bid submission
deadline without having dependency on purchaser.
