Question 1:
In Diagram below, PQRS, ABQC and KRL are straight lines.

Find the value of x.

Solution:

∠KRB + ∠ABR = 180 ← Sum of interior angles

o o
∠KRB + 105 = 180

o o
∠KRB = 180 − 105

o
∠KRB = 75

o
∠BRQ = 40 ← Corresponding angle

Vertically
o
x = ∠SRL = ∠KRQ ←
opposite angle

o o o
x = 75 + 40

o
= 115

x = 115

∠P QT = ∠RQS
