Housing
- shall consist of die cast aluminum
end plates, extruded aluminum rails secured
to a code gauge steel housing with
compartment dividers. All painted surfaces
shall be baked high temperature black.
Optical Train - shall consist of medium
screw base PAR-38 or R-40 reflector lamp.
May also be provided wlth general servlce
A-Lamp with Alzak rellector. Each unit shall
accommodate a comb nation filter holder for
color gel or 5 s drameter glass roundel.
Lamp replacement shall be easily
accomplished by raising the spring loaded
raiis
Sockel
- shall be UL listed medium screw
base, porcelain receptacles rated 600 volts,
660 watts continuous operation. Rated lamp
sealtemperatures shall not be exceeded.
Electrical leads shall consist of three 3
wire, 600V, 200"C, UL listed conductors, 36"
long in a sllicone braided sleeve. Connectors
shall be provlded as required.
Mounting - of unit shall be provided with a
heavy steeltrunion securely fastened to each
of the cast steelend plates and equipped
with painted malleable iron C-clamps,
adjustable for up to 2" LD. pipe. Each unit
shall be provided with a tilt adjust knob.
Oplional caslered carrage sels witl'lruniors
are provided for cyc lighting applications.
