Product Concept
The D011/D013 with its advanced features will allow us to provide
customers with the best features that money can buy, such as the
full color, wide VGA touch panel and color scanner capability. We
have also created a lineup of basic models (D009/D012) that can
be upgraded to a mono scanner with printer/scanner capabilities
for the cost conscious customer. By launching these two models,
we can provide a solution that will satisfy a wider base of
customers, which will help to increase our sales in this segment.

*1 There is only one board slot (S1) on the controller of the machine. Only one of these options can be installed at one time.
*2 Two SD card slots are available. If more than two options need to be installed, the applications can be moved to one SD card with SP5873-1.
Due to copyright restrictions, the PostScript Unit (D383) cannot be moved to another SD card. However, other applications can be moved
to the PostScript3 SD card. (For more information, see the Printer/Scanner Option manual.)
It is recommended to keep Slot C2 open for firmware updates.
