Course Objectives
Develop ability to
1. Understand simulation and system studies.
2. Explain techniques of random number generation and random variate generation.
3. Distinguish simulation of continuous and discrete Systems.
4. Describe simulation of queueing systems and Pert-network.
5. Design and evaluation of simulation experiments and simulation languages
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course, the student would be able to:
CO1. Explain the need of simulation and steps in simulation.
CO2. Generate random numbers and random variates employing various techniques.
CO3. Compare simulation of continuous and discrete systems.
CO4. Analyze the simulation of queueing systems and apply Pert Network models.
CO5. Design and evaluate simulation experiments and acquire knowledge on simulation
languages.
