Your lesson was well planned out. It was clear that you had listened to
some of the pointers that I have given i.e. use a whistle. During the lesson your expectation
of the skill was clear, you provided the children with a useful visual (Pauline and yourself
demonstrating). I liked it how you managed to incorporate a number of the movement skills
that we had been focusing on ie not just the jump but skip and side gallop also. You
observed the children during the activity and attempted to correct their skills where
needed.

Improvement point- Lessons often finish early or run over time… consider what “time filler”
type activities you could use. Build up a bank of these to use that have general learning
outcomes. Let me know if you would like some suggestions for these.

Another point to consider is when giving instructions outside you may like to get the
children to sit down as that way they don’t wonder off and tend to listen better.
