1. What is it made from?

It is made mainly from cassava starch and vegetable oil derivatives. Contains zero petroleum-
based component thus offering a sustainable alternative to single use plastic bag
2. What is the printing ink made from?

The ink for the printing logo is alcohol based, heavy metal free, non toxic and eco friendly
3. Can we have specific color for the printing ink?

It is possible. Our production team is able to mix and make new color, with minimum order of
500 kg weight of bags. But please keep in mind, color mixing is done manually and will
take some time
4. How long is the shelf life?

Up to 2 years if stored in its original-sealed protective PE packing. Once the PE packing is
opened, the shelf life of cassava bag shortens to months (less than 1 year) when stored in ideal
storage condition
5. How to measure the bag?

Calculation will be based on bag's width x length x thickness.

7. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for generic (non-customized) bags?

Cassava bags Generic is available per pack. One pack consists of 50-200 pieces of bags,
depends on the bag type and size
8. Can we customize the cassava bag?

Yes, you can customize the size and design according to your needs. Measurement will be
based on bag’s width x length x micron thickness. For design, please attach desired logo in
Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or PDF format when inquiring.
9. What is the MOQ for customized bags?

5.000-10.000 pieces depends on bag specification.
10. Is there any limitation for the printing or design?

Two colors, one side : 2 cylinders needed

11. What is printing cylinder?

Printing Cylinder is a metal sheet with final customized design on it and it is needed to print
the logo/design onto the bag. Printing process will be done at the same time during bags
production process. One cylinder can be used up to 100.000 bags as long as the bags are of
the same size and the same design.
12. How much is the cylinder?

The cylinder pricing depends on width and length of the bag, we'll refer to our cylinder calcula
tor for the final price.
13. What can be carried inside the cassava bag and what is the load capacity?
The Cassava bag is most ideal to carry dry items. The load capacity depends on the bags
specification / thickness.

14. Can the Cassava bag be re-used?

Yes, of course, please re use it as many times as possible.
15. How should I store and handle the bag?

• Cassava bags that are already opened from PE packing, must be stored in clean room with
good air circulation and natural ventilation
• Due to the nature-based ingredients used to make the Cassava bags, humid condition or
extreme weather should be avoided
• Please avoid direct prolonged contact of Cassava bags with water as it will alter the bag’s
texture and durability
16. What about the end life of the used Cassava bags?
We highly recommend to compost the Cassava bag using home composting method. The
time it takes to compost the bag, depends on condition of the composting set up (ie materi
als used in the compost mixture) and the treatment applied to it.
BIO-PONCHO

The poncho is made from corn, soy, and sunflower seed.

The poncho can last up to 6 months after production date if handled and stored properly.
3. Can I reuse the poncho?

Yes, you can reuse as many times as possible. Please hang or air them to dry after
each use and avoid crumpling for prolonged use.
4. Can I customize the design?

You can customize the print with MOQ of 3,000 pcs (up to 3 ink color maximum).
Additional printing plate will be added to the cost, depending on your design. Please
consult with us by attaching your desired logo in PDF or .ai file.
5. How should I store and handle the poncho?

After usage, please dry off the poncho before storage. Keep it in clean condition,
non-humid room and keep out from direct sunlight.
6. What about the end life of used bio poncho?

We highly recommend to compost the poncho using home composting method. The time it
takes to compost the bag depends on condition of the composting set up and the treatment
applied to it (i.e materials used in the compost mixture, mixing method and frequency, etc).

Yes, it is waterproof and can hold hot & oily content due to its vegetable oil lining.
4. Can I fill the box full with liquid ?

Food with minimal liquid content is still acceptable, but it is not recommended for watery
based content in the box.
5. Can I put the box in microwave or fridge?

Yes, bagasse box is safe to be used in microwave and fridge, even freezer.
