- For AR/VR training content, as long as the content is in compatible format (SCORM, AICC, HACP), it
can in theory be launched from the LMS. It is really up to the user to have the correct device.
- Yes through learning outcomes, where the learning admin can tie a learning item completion to the
acquisition of any profile item. There is integration with Talent Profile.
- There are parallels. Please look in Fusion Profile Management documentation. This would fall under
Learning Plans.
From Performance Document page, can a Manager or Employee assign or access learning courses?
- This is part of our roadmap targeted for end of CY 2017. The plan is for the learning association
component to provide the ability for learning to be associated with development goals or other
HCM modules.
Is it possible to setup a Prerequisite to a learning and link them, in accordance with what should be
done first, second, etc.?
- Currently HCM Learning Cloud does not have a concept of “Program”. It does support
“Specializations” which are comparable to learning plans.

Will there be a way to create new Learning Portals (or sub portals) such as what is delivered in Taleo
Learn?
- External Learner support is targeted as one of the enhancements of communities, planned for the
2018 timeframe.
o The Learner can self assign a learning item out of a job page, or a competency page thanks
to contextual learning feature
o The training administrator can massively push training recommendations to learners based
on various HCM criteria
o Learning items can be pushed automatically to people on a regular basis based on any
criteria found in Fusion as long as it is an OTBI reportable criteria.
Can employee request a training - that is not hosted in the HCM Learning Cloud?
- External Learning Request is scheduled for the 2018 timeframe, but SCORM content that is hosted
on a different server can be integrated with the SCORM connector that is currently available to
retrieve data from the external server.
- Communities can be open, closed or secret. They are groupings of users around a particular subject
area. Communities can be used as a User Group feature to gather people around the same topic
and can be used to simulate security through “secret community” feature, but it is not its primary
purpose. Catalog security is targeted for the end of 2017.
Does embedded learning imply creating a link to do training in other modules such as Performance?
How will HCM Learning Cloud be integrated with HCM Cloud onboarding?
Is it possible to create custom pages inside Learning Communities, with custom content (HTML,
CSS,...) to meet specific customer requirements?
- No. We are using the Fusion UI framework . However, some community enhancements will be
made in the future to give community managers more configuration possibilities around their UI.
- Yes. Gaps can be viewed in career development. In CY 2017 learning can be decided via goals and
per review.

Is it possible for HCM Learning to be integrated with Oracle CX’s Partner Relationship Management
tool in order to provide training for partners?

Will the SCORM content continue to be hosted in FTP server and linked in Learning or will it be
possible to upload a SCORM package directly using a UI in Fusion?
- SCORM content always has to be deployed on the FTP server in the backend. But you can already
upload it from the Fusion UI.
Is the evaluation part of a full-blown assessment creation functionality where they can be scored?
- Evaluations are currently available. Tests - Assessments are a future roadmap item. Training
Evaluations are based on the Fusion questionnaire framework. Scoring evaluations will be available
when Fusion questionnaires will be scored (targeted for end of 2017)
Will evaluations have the option for a minimum passing score for completion?
Is there an option to capture credits per course and capture location of where the course is to happen
like building/room and trainer?
- CEU is targeted for the 2018 timeframe. The course information around location/room/trainer (and
other resources) is targeted for the end of 2017.
- The “Specialist” is a common denomination for roles of training administrators (managing catalog
and content)
- Link with User Profile certificate is available in Release 12. Re-certifications patterns are targeted for
end of 2017.

Can a manager identify the required training based on employee competency gaps?
- Training admins can identify training to fulfill competency gaps. For managers, it’s also possible
through contextual learning.
Can the cost of training be traced and validated against a Financials budget in Financials Cloud?

Can one training course be delivered in multiple channels i.e. ILT, Online, Class room training etc.?
- Yes, a course can be delivered through multiple classes of different delivery methods.
Taking what we have today in the Early Adopter release (11), and what would come next with
integrations, a rough estimation guideline follows:
These 400 hours are only considering the standard features, with no page customization, no integration
work, and no work on reporting.
From experience we know how projects can evolve and be impacted with a new product. Managing
expectations can be a challenge. These types of considerations should be included as contingencies.

Will R12 have access to the controlled availability features and functionality?
R12 for the Early Adopters will have access to the CA features and functionality. Oracle partners
will also have access.
What is the migration path for Customers who are already using Taleo Learn? By when we are
expecting all the customers to move to OLC from Taleo Learn?

Taleo Learn will continue to be sold, implemented and invested in. It is not planned or
expected that all Taleo Learn customers will use Oracle Learning Cloud. It will be on a case by
case basis depending upon business needs and requirements.
Will there be integration with WebEx, Zoom, GoTo, etc., for webinars?
Integration with 3rd Party Vendors such as WebEx or Zoom is a roadmap item.
Does Oracle Learning Cloud have a market place where customer can import learning content and
is there any delivered 3rd party integration with learn content providers (like Skillssoft, etc.)
Oracle Learning Cloud does not currently have a market place. Customers can work with
vendors to acquire content and either upload into the system or point out to the content
provider. Oracle has relationships with vendors such as OpenSesame and Skillsoft and can
provide an introduction.
Are there plans for handling interest lists, training requests, etc.?
HCM Fusion has a number of branding options. Branding functionality similar to Taleo Learn
would have to be discussed on a case by case basis.
Will there be WebService and HDL objects for integration and data migration?
Yes in CY2017 there will be a service for integration and data migration.
Evaluations are available in R12 for Early Adopter customers. Assessments is a future roadmap
item.
Will training that takes place outside the system, like Shop Stewarts showing employee how to use
a tool?
Are we also planning to rollout third party payment interface integrations like PayPal?

Is it a correct assumption that Oracle Learn integrates seamlessly with Oracle Talent Management
(Performance) For Learning scores and learning goals?
Oracle Learning is on the same fusion platform as Talent Management. Learning is able to
leverage data from the performance module.
If we have a customer who is interested in HCM Learning Cloud today, where do we point them?
