WOW! It has been a very exciting morning for the children in the Toddler’s Room.
Krystal gathered the children on the mat and said “I have a special surprise for you”,
Freya shouted “BUNNY!” And quickly helped gather the children on the mat. Krys-
tal explained “We have to use our quiet voices because we don’t want to scare the
bunny”. Krystal asked “Freya, do you remember his name?” Freya smiled and said
“Theodore” Krystal smiled and responded “Yes. Where is Theodore from?” Hannah
pointed towards Krystal. Krystal replied “Theodore is my bunny, that’s right!” Krys-
tal opened the cage, and the children began to observe Theodore hop onto the towel.
Connor screamed with excitement, while Hannah and Aiden kept a distance. Krystal
said “Remember, we don’t scream!” Emelia placed her finger onto her lip. While
Theodore hopped around the towel and room, exploring his surroundings, Krystal
asked the children “What do bunnies eat?” The children did not respond, as they were
excited to see a live animal in the room. Krystal responded to her question and said
“They love carrots, broccoli, spinach…” Freya replied “Yum!”, while Bradley said “I
don’t like broccoli” After a few minutes, Jayden arrived. Krystal said “Good-morn-
ing, Jayden! Come have a look at the bunny” Jayden sat on Krystal and observed as
Theodore sniffed his shoes. Jayden smiled with excitement. Once Theodore had a few
minutes of hopping around, Krystal carefully picked him up and one-by-one each
child had a turn at patting Theodore. Connor said “Soft, soft” while patting him, and
others followed along. Krystal said “Aiden, come have a turn!” Aiden said “No”,
however walked closer towards Krystal. At 10:15AM, Krystal asked “Should
Theodore have a rest now?” The children began to say “Bye, bunny” and waved their
hands goodbye.

Well-done, everyone!
