1. Reason for the Job

Refer to the MPD TASK: 527300-02
OPERATIONAL CHECK OF RESIDUAL CABIN PRESSURE WARNING AND FUNCTIONAL CHECK OF
DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SWITCH
This task is only applicable for passenger/crew doors that are not
manually blocked from the inside/outside of the aircraft.

B. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of one of the passenger/
crew door 831 or 841 or 832 or 842.
(2) Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001) .
(3) Obey the special precautions before you start work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-
001) .

(1) On the panel 115VU, make sure that the ENG MASTER 1 and MASTER 2 toggle switches are in the
OFF position.

E. Tool Connection
(1) On the standby altimeter, set the zero altitude and write the local atmospheric pressure.
(2) Connect the air-data pressure generator GENERATOR - GROUND PRESSURE MINI. 100 MB
to one standby static probe with the static-probe charging adapter ADAPTER COVER-STATIC
PORT (98D34003500000) .
(3) Seal the opposite standby probe with the static probe cover.
4. Procedure

A. Test
(1) Do the test below:

ACTION
1.On the pressure generator, decrease the stat-
ic pressure by 3 hPa (0.0886 in.Hg) during one
minute.
2.On the pressure generator increase the static
pressure to the local atmospheric pressure.
RESULT
On all the passenger/crew doors the CABIN
PRESSURE warning light flashes.
On all the passenger/crew doors the CABIN
PRESSURE warning light goes off.

5. Close-up

A. Tool Disconnection
(1) Disconnect the air-data pressure generator GENERATOR - GROUND PRESSURE MINI. 100 MB.
(2) Remove the ADAPTER COVER-STATIC PORT (98D34003500000) .

B. Close Access
(1) Obey the special precautions after the work on the door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-860-002) .
(2) Make sure the passenger/crew door is closed (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001) .
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
