Since I was in my high school life I found out to my self that teaching was one of my passion in my life.

I’am active in our church service which is children’s work . I’am one of the sheperd or what they called

“teacher” there. Everytime they call me “teacher sister” I felt overwhelming.

I know that being a student is very difficult, just like doing the reports, homeworks or reviewing the

subjects at the same time. Because of that I will be given them some advice how to manage their time.

One of my inspiration was Mrs. Rinalyn J. Lemon. She is my values teacher when I was in my grade 8

and grade 10. Since 3rd grading in my grade 8 she bacame my friend untill now. I can say that she

became not just my teacher or friend but also a mother, comforter and a supporter. She didn’t told me

to go pursue teaching. I just saw the traits she has that is similar to me.

My sheperd in my church life who finished education became my role models. Because their reason why

they choose education iss to continue serving the Lord even they are working. That they can deliver

their student to the church life or easily share the gospel to their students.

I remember when I was in my high school days, grade 9 to bee exact. I was able to be a student

teacher because of the teacher’s month. I’m not discussing any topic because my teacher told me to

look and secured her students. At first I introduce my self to them and told then I’m just there to

oversee them. After 30 minuites off just sitting their, my spirit leads me to share the gospel to them. So

I stand and write on the board the verse and I lead them to sing it and discuss to them what it means.

We also have the recitation. That time I realize thaat teaching is my passion. Teaching is for me.

My name is Shekinah Glory, I was born on the 5th day of June, 1999 in Ozamis City. I have my little

sister, and I’m the eldest. My father finished Business Management, at first I also want to be a Business

Woman but later on I found out I wasn’t good at mathematics. My mother study Architecture but

suddenly she stooped and work to have financial support for her brother. She told me, she wanted to be

a teacher but the school offered to her don’t have this course. That’s why she is supporting me to

pursue this course. I thank God because He give this precious people to me.
I think it fits for me because one of my personal life goals is teaching but not just teaching but also

loving and having care to my students. I can see myself 10 years from now that I’m a sucessful english

teacher, discussing topics in my students. Comforting them with their problems, molding their behavior

and knowing their future.

According to Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the

world.” Being a teacher is the crucial profession that is needed to mold every person to have the power

to change the world.
