The first image in the poem that we identify is :

“ Ayon sa alamat, lason ng pana ni Pagtuga, Ang lumikha sa bulkan – libingan ito Ng dalagang namatay sa
isang digmaan.”

The lason ng pana ni Pagtuga makes us think that it is a deadly poisonous crossbow which we can
conclude or we can imagine a girl who was been attacked by a man holding his poisonous crossbow and
pointing its arrow to her which cause her death , and in this stanza it is said that this is the cause of the
volcano’s birth, where Magayon died because of the hatred feeling of Ulap and Pagtuga towards each
other .

The second image that we identify in the poem is that :

“Sa ilang retrato na ibinebenta ng mga bata sa Cagsawa Lusaw na tae

ang nagliliyab na lava, dumadaloy pababa "

This stanza viewed that those pictures that the kids are selling is the image of the lava thats like a
melted human waste, flowing down from the mouth of Mayon, that the mayon flowing lava make as
imagine that it looks like an old woman who is chewing gape because it is the same in color .

The third image that we identify is that :

“tinitigan ko ang nakangangang bulkan – binalot Ng ulap at ng sariling usok angn tuktok, gatas sa labi,
baka sakali, magpakita, nang may silbi ang kamera."

This image shows that as Mayon volcano erupted it is like a sky which is covered with a cloud around it,
that blows its own thick smoke that can justify how the camera can be effective in capturing the
beautiful site of Mayon.And the question "mangangak kaya ito? " let us imagine that could this history
repeat itself again, if is there an another volcano which will grow to potray the story of ulap and
magayon again .

The fourth image that we identify is that :

Ngayon, ano ang tutubo sa paanan ng Mayon, Gayong nagiging malawak na itong sementeryo
Ng abo, ng tao. Manganganak na kaya ito?”

This image implies that who would lived near the mayon if it will be a wide graveyard of ashes of
deceased people after its explosion , this use of the image of a graveyard is to let us imagine that when
the Mayon erupts many people died because of the lava and smoke came from the perfect cone-shaped
volcano. As well as when the death of Magayon is the cause of the birth of the Mayon Volcano. We think
that after the death of Magayon, it symbolizes that she still cannot accept the fact that she already dead,
so she think if the volcano erupt the people will die.It also express that is there be a life again after the
erruption of MAYON, just like what had happen to love story of Ulap and Magayon will continue now if
they are both in heaven, and is there a possibility that they will continue their dream about living life in a
lifetime.And the quetion "mangangak kaya ito? " let us imagine that could this history repeat itself again,
if is there an another volcano which will grow to potray the story of ulap and magayon again .And the

And the fifth or the last image that we identify is :

“ Kapag sa malayo, isa siyang magandang sikyung nakatanod,

handa sa pagkapkap naghihintay sa iyong pagpasok "

This image wants to express that if it is far it is like a security guard maybe because the security guards
are known for being aware to check on you and your things before you enter a certain place to make
sure that you don’t have any thing that may cause danger. They may look nice but then some of them
are very strict, just like the Mayon Volcano. It can look so nice, beautiful and all, but then if its active
already, it may erupt anytime and we, and the locals must also be aware just like the guards. we must be
ready to face and we must know how to overcome with such things that can happen unexpectedly.use a
security guard to the final image of the poem because just like the Mayon, a good security guard is
always alert and aware of his surroundings.
