BILKA is a 100% Romanian company specialized in the production and

development of complete roof systems (metal roofing, rain water
systems and accessories) for residential and industrial buildings. 1 of 4
roofs sold in Romania is a BILKA roof.
BILKA factory is located in Brasov and was founded in 2007. Currently,
the production and storage halls cover an area of 14 ha.
In 11 years of activity BILKA has covered over 200,000 buildings.
The production lines are fully automated, relying on state-of-the art
technologies.

BILKA CLASIC
The CLASIC metallic tile is profiled in steel with a thickness between 0.40 and 0.60 mm, zinc-coated
(Z225-Z275), covered with a layer of glossy or matte paint. This type of metal roofing is the most
widely used, it is similar to classical tiles, and is used especially in residential buildings.
} The CLASIC metallic tile is produced in a wide range of glossy and matte color shades.
Metal roofing panels are available in lengths between 500 mm and 7000 mm. For very long roof
slopes, where the covering with a single tile panel is not recommended, two or more metal roofing
panels must be used. This requires the calculation of the bottom panels as a multiple of tiles, taking
into account the technical overlap of 150 mm.

The ROMANIC roof tiles are made of zinc-plated (Z225-Z275) shaped steel sheet with thicknesses
between 0.50 and 0.60 mm, coated with a single layer of glossy or matte paint. The ROMANIC
metallic roof tiles can be delivered with lengths between 500 mm and 7000 mm.
} The ROMANIC metallic roof tiles are manufactured in a wide range of colour shades.
This is a product that distinguishes itself by its 30 mm high profile. Due to its style and durability, this
model can be used for new constructions, but also for historic monuments or Roman style
constructions hundreds of years old.
The innovative joining system allows the overlapping of the roof tile modules on both sides,
significantly simplifying the installation process and reducing installation costs.

BILKA RETRO PANEL

Folded sheet roof panels with 'click' joint are a modern roofing solution and a quick and easy
alternative to traditional roofs. This type of metal roofing can be chosen to cover rustic houses or
ordinary roofed houses, requiring refurbishment, but also for new and modern buildings.
The flexibility of the RETRO PANEL covering allows for the coverage of large slope buildings, ensures
coverage of atypical buildings such as heritage buildings, keeping the architectural line of the
building.
} Also, RETRO PANEL can be used to cover office buildings and shopping centers without
interfering negatively on the aesthetic aspect of the building.

FOLDED METAL SHEET

In the field of roofings, the folded sheet metal roof panels are a modern roofing solution and a quick
and easy alternative to traditional roofs. The folded sheet metal is suitable for the roofing of normal
houses, but also of new and modern buildings. Due to its flexibility, the folded sheet metal roof is
also suitable for the roofing of atypical buildings. Furthermore, folded sheet metal roofing can be
used for office buildings and shopping centers, without affecting the aesthetics of the building.
The BILKA folded sheet metal is made with a nominal thickness between 0.45 and 0.6 mm,
depending on the construction requirements. Panels can be manufactured in custom lengths, and
panels with very large lengths can be produced.
} For very large water lengths the panels are folded on site, with special equipment following the
prior consultation of the BILKA technical consultant.
The BILKA folded sheet metal allows a roofing with a minimum slope of 3⁰ and is produced in 12
colours for the PLX special Swedish steel manufactured by SSAB producer.
} As an alternative DX51D steel sheet can be used, which is available in a wide range of colours, with
matte and glossy finishing.

Corrugated steel sheet T8 is made of steel sheet, galvanized on both sides and protected with
polyester. It is used especially for facades, fences or ceilings but can also be mounted on the roof,
as covering.

mounted on the roof as covering.

0.5 mm, depending on the construction requirements, the standard length of the panels
ranges from 0.500 m to 13.5 m.

The BILKA rainwater system is made of hot galvanized steel, with 15 YEARS COLOR

multilayer protection on both sides for a perfect behavior in time.

The element joining system is simple, fast and efficient, does not allow AR
rainwater to pour down the facade or to infiltrate in the house GU
foundation and walls, thus protecting the whole building and ensuring
a higher useful life. 1
The production of the BILKA system elements is based on the Swedish
technology, using high-quality Swedish steel (0.6 mm thick), galvanized 2
on both sides (275 g/sqm) and covered with Prelaq Nova (2x50 microns). 4
} The Prelaq Nova layer confers products a special surface
smoothness, high color stability and solid resistance to rainwater
and atmospheric pollutants. 3
The five layers building and protecting the metal band ensure that
each element is corrosion-proof and provide an extended useful life of
such products.

This is why the BILKA system guarantees very long-term resistance,
whereby the only maintenance operation required resides in the
cleaning of the gutters.
