* The final decision making in terms of the school’s purpose rests on the shoulders of school
administrators. The chore of administrator is to make sure all teachers are operating within the laws,
rules and education standards.
* In the academic institution, school administrators have a great stake or concern about what kind of
curriculum their schools offer and how these are implemented.
* The administrator is the chief of disciplinary enforcer in the school. When the teacher has exhausted
all attempts and get to control or discipline a student and get results, the administrator is expected to
handle the situation.
* Administrators and boards can determine what are the most effective methods imparting knowledge
to students. They monitor curriculum delivery to ensure that it is taught is a very consistent with the
design.
*Teachers, administrators, school board members and parents all make assessment about the
effectiveness of the curriculum in place.
Why are school administrators and curriculum managers important to
curriculum implementation?
*The school administrators play an important role in shaping the school curriculum because they are the
people who are responsible in the formulation of the schools’ vision, philosophy, mission, and
objectives. They provide necessary leadership in evaluating teaching personnel and school program.
Keeping records of curriculum and reporting learning outcomes. The school administrations have the
responsibility of running the entire school effectively.
The administrator is responsible for deciding major objectives and policies of the school
organization and a manager has to put into action the policies and objectives decided by the
administration.
It simply means that the parents are the best supporters of the school, especially because they are the
ones paying for the child’s education.
Parents would be willing to pay the cost of educating their child for as long as their children get the best
learning or school experiences. In our country, it is a general fact that even in college the parents are
responsible for their child’s education. The power of parent’s to influence curricula to include
instructional materials and school activities is great, such that success of curricula would somehow
depend on their support.
