Narrative Report for the Month of July

On the month of July during Meeting Time, I shared to them the different parts of the body, how we can
take care of our body and how we can move our body in many ways, also I introduced to them the five
senses of our body that can help us to learn and how we should take care of ourselves.

During Small Group Activities, I brought it a poster of different parts of the body like eyes, nose, ears and
tongue. And I shared to them how important to us. Also I let my class to walk around the school in order
to them to see what the things in our school are. After that I ask the children to recall the things they
saw when they went around the school. And I Give each child a piece of paper and ask him to draw his
answer. Then, I let the children to play table blocks, picture dominos, sand play and body puzzle.

In Big Group Activities, I show to them a Body tracing poster, I ask the children to name the body parts in
the poster. And I taught to them how we use and care the parts of our body, like our hands I told them
how we wash our hands properly, we should take a bath regularly, and brush our teeth three times a
day or more.

In Supervised Recess, I always persuade them to pray before and after they eat their snacks, washing
their hands and brush their teeth after they eat their snacks.

In Story Telling Time, I Introduce t/o them the different story like klassmeyt, Si Pilandok ang Tagabantay
ng Kalikasan, Princess and the Pea, Ang Alamat ng Saging, Ayoko Na, and the rest of the story come from
the book of Adarna. Also I Introduce to them the different Rhymes, songs, poems, like I have Two Eyes,
Mt Toes, My Knees, My Shoulder, My Heads, And I Have Two Hands.

In Indoor/Outdoor Activities, I Introduced to them the different games, like Move that body, Pass the
Ball, Over an Under Relay, What’s on My Back and Hands Slap.

On July 29, 2011 we had our Culmination Program of Nutrition Month with the TEMA “Isulong ang
Breastfeeding, Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo”. The Preschool students share their talents true dancing
which is connected to the program about nutrition, and they use props of different fruits and
vegetables.
