The meeting was headed by the TLE Subject Area
Coordinator, Ms. Arlene Calica. Before the meeting
started, the lists of agendas were clearly stated first.
These are the things that were discussed during the
department meeting:
-Laboratories Update
-Scheduling
-Technolympics
-Item Analysis
-IPCRF PPST
-DLL
-Aptitude Test
-Other Matters
Computer Laboratory 1
A. Installtion of Software and checking of
connections
B. Progress Chart for all Laboratories
Computer Laboratory 2
A. Every Quarter no solicitation.
B. Advise student for every quarter per section for
cleaning materials and strictly no monetary
contributions.
Scheduling
A. For Grade 7, there is no change of schedule
because of swapping.
B. For Grade 8, conflict of schedule for teachers are
subject for adjustment for the next quarter (e.g, if
the teacher is first period in the first quarter,
he/she will be in second period for the next
quarter if there is a conflict of time)
Technolympics
A. In preparation for Technolympics, representative
per specialization is suggested. Funds are also
separated for each Clubs.
B. Here are the Teachers in-charge under the
umbrella of TLE Club.
Cookery – Mam Khayne & Mam Dalut
ICT – Sir Angelo & Mam Terry
Industrial Arts – Sir Hermie & Sir Michael
Item Analysis
A. Must practice IA, and if the test is very difficult,
adjust the question.
IPCRF PPST
A. Digital Copy is easy to check and advised
teachers to use and suggested for E-copy for the
next portfolio
B. Observation for every quarter; taret is four (4)
until January
DLL
A. For Daily Lesson Log, teachers are allowed to
write the lesson for a week.
B. Checking of DLL is every Friday for AM
Teachers and PM Teachers as agreed upon.
C. For Two Prep, the 2nd prep can be printed and in
folder.
APTITUDE TEST
A. It is suggested that Grade 8 Teachers should
conduct aptitude test as part of their grading
system before the year ends to avoid mismatch,
because student taking the AT doesn’t take the
test seriously for the subject they don’t want.

REMINDERS:
1. Classroom are prohibited with so many posters
and advised to preserved the wall.
2. Teachers also enlighted that change of Grade
Level are not demotion.
3. Regular Teaching load is 6 loads. Some teachers
have less loads because of ancillary task.
4. Inform Grade Level Coordinator in case of
absent, to prepare for substitute teacher and also
inform the Subject Coordinator for protocol.
5. 5s for teachers table is reminded.
6. In answering the LCM, teachers are advised to be
serious about it and on-time in submission.
7. For Mean & SD, do not leave a blank grade,
place 60,65 or 70 instead.
8. Important files should be secured and disposed
for security purposes that may be used for illegal
activities. (e.g loans and other personal
information usage).
9. Failed to submit Periodic Test on time, the
teacher should be responsible to go to the
division office for the signature of the PSDS, and
teachers are subject for explanation for the late
submission.
10. 6 hours agreement form should be submitted
before the month.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. Powerpoint test for Long Test as alternative.
2. Teachers will use uniform Anecdotal Format.
