MY DIARY, MY OPINION
I hate vandalism. People who vandalise (vandals) destroy public properties. They
are also involved in graffiti.
Animal abuse is a crime. The animals are beaten, starved and used for fun and
scientific research.
Many children suffer cyber bullying that happens through electronic devices. A
cyber bully harm others and they are selfish.
Smoking is a bad habit. Smokers harm their bodies and also people around them.
Smokers who smoke in 'no smoking area' should be fined.
Bullies are cowards. They threaten other people and hurt them. I hope bullied
children are not afraid to report to their teachers about their problem.

MY HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE
Danial is 12 years old and he was born rich. He has visited many interesting
places in foreign countries such as the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Eiffel
Tower in Paris.
Last school holidays, Danial's father took his family to Perak. They stayed at a
hotel in Pulau Pangkor. Danial and his siblings were amazed by the crystal clear
water, so they went snorkeling. The next day, they went hiking at Bukit Larut in
Taiping. They snapped pictures of the flora and fauna there. After 2 days, they went
home, feeling satisfied with their vacation.

SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT
The headmistress of SK Abdul Rahman Yassin, Puan Mazlin binti Idris loves the
nature very much.
Last breezy Monday, Puan Mazlin organised a gotong royong project. Pupils
and teachers were divided into groups to sort out the rubbish and throw it into the
recycling bins. Then, they gathered the dead leaves using rakes. They also collected
recyclable items given by other pupils. Then, they went to the hall for an exhibition
on 'Saving the Environment'. They also watched a video on pollution. Before
dismissal, Puan Mazlin advised everyone to save Mother Earth.

HAVING FOOD POISONING
Amni is 12 years old and she loves fast food. She always ignores his father's
advice to bring home-made food to school.
Last breezy Tuesday, Encik Jais, Amni's father, gave her RM10 to buy books.
However, she misused the money and bought a lot of fast food. During lesson, she
started to have stomachache and her face was pale. She ran to the toilet and
vomited. Her teacher rushed her to the nearest hospital. The doctor who treated her
said that she had food poisoning. He told Amni to eat balanced diet and exercise
more.

A ZOO TRIP
Najah is 12 years old and she is friendly.
Last fine Friday, Najah and her classmates went on an excursion to Malacca
Zoo by bus. The trip was so exciting since they had never set foot in Malacca. Once
they reached there, a teacher went to the ticket counter to get the tickets. They saw
several tigers lazing by the pond. They had sharp claws and large fangs to catch and
eat their prey. The children also took notes on other animals for their school project.
It was indeed a memorable trip for them.

A CHARITY EVENT
A week after the discussion, the committees organised a garage sale and they
managed to get lots of money. Kind people also donated lots of clothes, food and
books. They had to rent a house to keep all the items. One evening, they packed all
the things and donated them to orphanages and old folks homes in Kluang.
It was indeed a meaningful day for them.

AN EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO KUALA LUMPUR
During the school holidays, Damia and her friends went to see the National
Monument in Kuala Lumpur for an educational trip. It was built to honour the men
who fought for the country's freedom. Their History teacher told them about how
Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman gained the country's
independence from the British. They were touched when they knew that many
people gave away their valuables to help raise the funds for him to go to London.
They arrived home safely at 5 p.m.
