Level 3 (Asst. Nurse or Caregiver)


• Identifying the individual needs/desires of the client for support.
• Offering prevention by means of early detection, providing
information, advice and instructions.
• Is able to provide information about basic personal care and self-
reliance in the event of common disorders, limitations and functional
problems of clients,
• Can deal with differences in communication styles and communication
codes in different cultures
• Takes measures to prevent complications, for example due to side
effects, immobility and hospitalization

Level 4 (Registered Nurse)


• Performs the admission interview, determines the care needs and
draws up the nursing care plan, evaluates it and adjusts it if
necessary
• Is the point of contact for the client and their relatives, supervises
and provides information, education and (prevention) advice with
regard to the condition, the perception of the disease, the course
of the disease and the future prospects; and refers, if necessary, to
level 5 nurses or other care providers
• Provides medication, performs risky and reserved actions and
assists the doctor in medical technical actions
• Ensures nurse transfer to colleagues and reports findings, actions
and details in the client record
• Contributes to the improvement of the quality of nursing care by,
among other things, participating in working groups and
contributing to protocols and procedures
