Why Is College Important?

College is important for many reasons, including long-term financial gain, job stability, career
satisfaction and success outside of the workplace.
With more and more occupations requiring advanced education, a college degree is critical to your
success in today's workforce. But earning an accredited college degree can also have a significant
impact on other areas of your life.
1. Workers with a college degree are less likely to face unemployment.
In addition to the potential to make more money, earning your college degree could also lead to more
career stability.
2. College graduates are more likely to experience job satisfaction.
Workers with a bachelor's degree or more advanced education were are also significantly more to say
their job is a career, with 70% viewing their job as a career compared to just 39% of workers with no
college education .
3. A college degree can boost your financial.
Working-age adults with bachelor's degrees are 9.4 times more likely to have a bank account than
those with a high school diploma as their highest level of education.
4. Earning a college degree could even boost your happiness.
adults with a bachelor's degree or higher reported being happy or very happy with life, compared to
of adults with no college education.
5. Earn a college degree; be a better citizen.
Earning your college degree can improve the lives of those around you.
6. Have fun!
Everyone knows that you go to college to obtain a career and become successful, but you're only
young once. So live these next four, five, six, seven, or even eight years to the absolute fullest. Don't
miss out on opportunities with your friends because you think one night will be your breaking point in
achieving one point higher on that exam. There is time for studying and there is time for fun. You
have to balance the two out, and that is the most important step in being successful in college.
Benefits of having a college degree

There are many benefits when you finish your college degree. Though there are some people that
prefer to work rather than continuing their college, there are many reasons why going to college is a
must. But what kind of reasons are they?

First having your college degree increases the chances of getting a high paying job. Having your
college degree create more opportunities thus your life would be better and your future will be secured.

Second, when you enter college you have a chance to meet people that could shape your life
and help you grow as a person. In this case, you are slowly improved your social skills, discipline and
your own understanding in the world.

Third, you got your own freedom with responsibility. You’ll get to know who you really are by
joining to groups that have your interests to enhance your skills and gain more knowledge. The positive
side of joining groups is you are able to improve your public speaking skills and gaining more self
confidence to socialize.

Fourth, going to college disciplines you and teach you on how to manage your time. While you
are in college you are able to obtain knowledge that will help you through your journey while you are
slowly exposing yourself in the world outside the school, with your parents that will surely help and
guide you.

Lastly, we all know that college may seem to be hard sometimes but we also know that success
needs hard work and patience to wait for the best moment.
