EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 02

SERIES OF 2019

AN ORDER CREATING THE BARANGAY ANTI-DENGUE TASK FORCE OF

BARANGAY CABUGAO ESTE, MUNICIPALITY OF PANAY

WHEREAS, the local government units are mandated under the Local Government
Code to promote health and safety of its constituents;

WHEREAS, DOH Memorandum 2011- 0235 and DILG Memorandum Circular 2012-
16 orders for the nationwide implementation of “Aksyon Barangay Kontra
Dengue’’ (ABKD);

WHEREAS, Dengue is considered as a major health concern which rises in

incidence during the rainy season due to presence of more breeding places for
disease-causing Aedes mosquitos;

WHEREAS, given the preventability of the disease, it is prudent to provide for a

community-based dengue prevention and control mechanism, and strengthen
existing policies that are already being implemented by the LGU and the national
government;

NOW THEREFORE, I, SOCORRO C. BENDICO, Punong Barangay of Cabugao Este by

virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby order the following;

Section 1. Barangay Cabugao Este Anti- Dengue Task Force- a Barangay Cabugao
Este Anti- Dengue Task Force is hereby created.

Section2. composition- The Barangay Cabuagao Este Anti- Dengue Task Force
shall be composed of the following:

Vice Chairman: MA. VICTORINA B. BILAN / Committee on health
Members:
TOMAS B. BORREROS/ Brgy. Kagawad
MYRNA B. BORREROS
JOEL ROQUE C. BOFILL
LEONY P. BALGOS
RONALD B. BELLOSILLO
ROSELLER B. LATE
VINCE L. DEITA/ YOUTH
ERNESTO L. BILAN/ Tanod
EDNA B. BECARES/ BHW
SUSANA B. MAGBANUA/ DAYCARE WORKER
Section 3. Function- The Barangay Cabugao Este Anti- Dengue Task Force shall
have the following functions:

1. Ensure that every household and establishment within its jurisdiction shall
a. Disposed, empty, seal, store under roof containers that are usually
filled with rainwater such as discarded tires, bottles, broken
appliances, garbage, paint cans, ect;
b. Regularly clean containers or replace water in containers that are
usually filled with water by people, such as drums, aquariums,
pounds fountains, animal feeding bowls and pools; and
c. Keep its respective surroundings within its areas of responsibility
clean.
2. Implement other preventive actions that the Department of Health may
provide like the 4 o’ clock habit, 4- S Kontra Dengue and Aksyon Barangay
Kontra Dengue.
3. Coordinate with the Municipal Health Office in the conduct of
fogging/misting operations and search and destroy activities;
4. Conduct massive information and education drive in its respective
jurisdiction regarding control, prevention and elimination of Dengue;
5. Assist in the surveillance and reporting of Dengue cases;
6. Conduct regular clean up drives including de- clogging of canals and
drainage;
7. Perform other activities related to the control, prevention and elimination
of dengue.
Section 4. Effectivity- This Order shall be effective immediately.
