1. Documents required for NOC: Understand NOC will be taken care by Allies Liaising team. But please
can you advise on the documents that you require from us for NOC including drawings or electrical
approval as building is quite old and it is difficult to get old documents.
2. NOC Process: Building has permit number and has been operational for more than 12 years.
Kindly advise on the process of NOC including submission of fire drawings. We strongly recommend
that drawings are first approved by Fire before work starts. I hope generation of such drawings, etc are
in your scope. Kindly confirm.
3. Project schedule: as mentioned it is a running convention center and i want the same to be confirmed
so that it doesnt clash with our programs. June is a lighter load month but July and August bookings are
already there and we need to plan accordingly.
4. Civil and Electrical interface: kindly let us know the interfaces. Civil- pump foundation: kindly visit site
and advise. Tank is already in construction. Tar is already done and please advise on provision for fire
brigade inlet.
For piping length and routing, please verify on site the practical aspect and mention max. length needed
based on site conditions. Please advise early.
Electrical scope if any to be advised so that we can incorporate. Advise on how pump electrical to be
done.
5 Site Visit Report : can you pls provide site visit report as i would like to know upfront of any major
changes including door opening, access widths and clearances, etc.as per checklist.
Is there a fire door access needed?
Is ground floor division sufficient to avoid sprinklers, etc?
Should door opening be changed?
6 Spec Sheet.
- A few spec, manufacturer, etc. Of few items were discussed and please confirm the exact make that
will be provided. The make has to be changed as per Specification sheet provided.
- Pump to be changed to Kirloskar as based on telephone discussion, Kirloskar is a better pump was
mentioned.
- Butter-fly valves and non-return valves make to be changed to match the spec provided below.
- Hose reel to be provided will be Monsieur?

7 Piping length:
can you reconfirm the piping length based on the construction of the new tank and routing possible.
Please come with a max length that I can budget accordingly so that finally in site it will be running
length but appreciate if I can know the max length?

8 Detector Provision:
Noted that no detectors are going to be provided. Please assess the need for heat detector in kitchen
and smoke detector inside the auditorium and whether it is installable.

9 Emergency power backup/ UPS:

Emergency power backup and emergency lighting is in whose scope? I didn’t see this mentioned on the
quotation. We have 2 Diesel Generators with additional 1 backup. Can we use this instead of UPS. Can
 you pls confirm if it will be on your scope or alternatively ours. Is there LED light with battery backup.

10 Fire extinguisher type

Noted only ABC -type fire extinguishers are mentioned on the proposal. But there is an electrical room
and there are DG sets and threats are electrical fire and kitchen fire. So is there different types of
extinguishers going to be installed? Eg. Is CO2 needed? Why is the same missing on the quote?

11 Aesthetics:
Since it’s an auditorium, I prefer the hose reel and box to not spoil the aesthetics.

So please assess site and advise on best positions for hydrant and hose box. Is there only a swing type
possible for hose reel? Also, is there a better type that can make sure that the best can be used.

12 Public Address system:

Further to the phone discussion, please clarify if the same is required for NOC as I didn’t see the same
in Fire checklist.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 100 mm dia slim seal type cast iron butterfly valves lever
operated type with necessary flanges, nuts, rubber gaskets and bolts complete. Butterfly valve shall be Wafer
type, Stainless Steel/ SG iron disc, lever operated as per ISI in PN 1.0, teflon or nylon bushing, nitile O rings in
standard mounting falnges with hand lever type.
