Walk-in Interview

The following purely temporary positions are to be filled up in DST/ ICMR funded project. The posts
are co-terminus with the project subject to satisfactory progress report.

Project: CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE FOR CLIMATE CHANGE & VECTOR BORNE DISEASES

1. Research Associate

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Earth Sciences from a recognized university or equivalent or

having 3 years of experience in research or teaching in relevant field after M.Sc/ M.Tech with at
least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable:
I. Experience in GIS/ Remote sensing softwares
II. Knowledge of computer applications and analytical skills

Age Limit: 40 years (For women candidates 42 years)

Emoluments: 36000+HRA (as per norms)

2. Senior Research Fellow (Two)

Essential Qualification:
(I) Post Graduate degree in Earth Sciences with NET qualification and two years of Research
experience in relevant field or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification
and two years of experience in relevant field or Post Graduate Degree in professional Course
and two years of experience in relevant field.

(II) Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences with NET qualification and two years of Research
experience in relevant field or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET
qualification and two years of experience in relevant field or Post Graduate Degree in
professional Course and two years of experience in relevant field.

Age: 35 years
Emoluments: Rs. 28000/pm- + HRA (as per norms)

PROJECT 2: VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT AND ADAPTATION MEASURES

TOWARDS POTENTIAL IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON MALARIA IN HOT
SPOTS OF INDIA

1. Insect Collector (Project Technician I) (2 UR and 1 OBC)

Essential qualification: High school or equivalent with one year experience in related field from a
government institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant field.
Intermediate with science subjects shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years experience.

Salary: Rs. 16000/-(Consolidated)

Age: 25 years

Malaria Research, Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110077 as per the schedule give below, along with
their Bio-data, self-attested photocopies and originals of documents and supporting educational
qualifications and desired experience for verification. Candidates already in employment should also
bring a No-objection certificate (NOC) from their employer. No TA/DA will be paid for interview. Age
relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ Women candidates is as per Govt. rules.

Note: If the number of eligible candidates is more than 30, a written test will be conducted for each post.
