IV. PROCEDURE
A. Pre-reading
Presentation Teacher ask the pupils the important characters of the teleserye “Ang Probinsyano” or their favorite teleserye.
Let a representative of each group recall the characters in front of the class.
Teacher will unlock difficulties through picture dictionary.

Teacher asks the pupils the standards while the teacher is reading a story.

B. During Reading
Book Knowledge Teacher presents the Big Book “Si Prinsesa Fiona ug ang Buwan”. Have the pupils tell something about the
cover of the Big Book. Point and read the title of the book, writer and illustrator.

Og mao ni ang storya:

Niadtong unang panahon, naay managti-ayon nga Hari ug Rayna. Nagpuyo kini sa usa ka gingharian. May
gwapa sila nga anak nga ginganlag Prinsesa Fiona. Abtik ug himsog nga bata si Prinsesa Fiona. Gusto niyang
magduwa tibuok adlaw. Apan may dakong problema. Dili siya pwede mabuwad sa init sa adlaw kay mangatol ang
iyang panit. Nahimong masulub-on ang kinabuhi sa Prinsesa. Sa gabie lang nga hayag ang buwan makaduwa ang
Prinsesa gawas sa palasyo. “Kumusta ka, higalang Buwan?”, matod pa niya.
Sa una maka estroya pa sa mga tawo ang Buwan ug maka ubos pa kini sa yuta. Nahimong managhigala ang
buwan ug si Prinsesa Fiona. Malipayon kaayo ang Prinsesa sa dihang managhigala na sila ug ang Buwan. Permi na
siyang maghuwat sa Buwan nga magpakita niya.
Wala kahibawo si Prinsesa Fiona nga ang iyang amahang hari naay dakong problema. Gustong ilugon ang
gingharian sa mga kaaway. Usa ka gabie gidala og panuroy ni Buwan si Prinsesa Fiona. “Ganahan ka manuroy ta sa
kawanangan?”, pangutana ni Buwan. “Oo,” tubag ni Prinsesa Fiona. Busa nanuroy sila. Layo na ang duha sa dihang
misulong ang mga kaaway sa gingharian. Nakalayas ang hari ug Rayna apan gisunog ang palasyo sa mga kaaway.
Wala kahibawo si Prinsesa Fiona sa nahitabo sa ilang palasyo. Malipayon kaayo siyang nanuroy kauban ang higalang
Buwan.
Sa pag-uli, nakurat ang Prinsesa sa iyang nakita. “Ina ko, Ama ko! Mag-unsa nalang ko karon? Wala naku
makita ang akong ginikanan!” nga naghilak kini. “Ayaw na ug hilak, atong pangitaon ang Hari ug Rayna”, nagpasalig
ang Buwan. “Tara, kuyog kanako”. Gipangita nila ang Hari ug Rayna. Apan wala gayod nila kini makit-e. Giuban-uban
ni Buwan ang Prinsesa bisan asa siya paingon.
Maoy hinungdan nga kung atong tan-awon ang Buwan makita nato ang Prinsesa nga kauban hangtod karon.
