Row 1: Create a magic circle. Ch-4 (counts

Rows 3-12: Repeat row 2.
Note: This pattern is designed for a bottle that is 22cm (8.5”) from base to
neck. To customize your holder, add or subtract from rows 3-12 until the
holder is approximately 2.5cm (1”) from the neck of the bottle.
Row 13: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, 2sc in ch-2 space. [sc in dc, 2sc in
ch-2 space] around. Sl-st to first sc to join. [36sc]
Row 14: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each of next 3 sc. Sc2tog
over next 2 sc. [sc in next 4 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sc] 5 times. Sl-st to first
sc to join. [30sc]
Row 15: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each of next 2 sc. Sc2tog
over next 2 sc. [sc in next 3 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sc] 5 times. Sl-st to first
sc to join. [24sc]
Row 16: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next sc. Sc2tog over next 2
sc. [sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog over next 2 sc] 5 times. Sl-st to first sc to join.

Row 17: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next 2 sc. Ch-1, turn. [3sc]
Row 18-27: Sc in 3 sc. Ch-1, turn. [3sc]
Row 28: Sc in 3 sc. Fasten off, leaving a 30-35cm (12-14”) tail.
Finishing
Fold the tab towards the outside of the bottle holder so that row 28 lines up
with row 13. Using the tail of the tab and a tapestry needle, sew the tab to
the banded portion of the holder.

Wide Bottle Holder


This bottle holder will accommodate bottles up to 9.5cm (3.75”) in diameter.
Note: Do not turn at the end of rows 1-16.

Row 1: Create a magic circle. Ch-4 (counts as dc+ch1) [dc, ch-1] 11 times
in circle. Tighten circle and sl-st to 3rd ch in ch-4. [12dc, 12 ch-1 spaces]
Row 2: Ch-5 (counts as dc +ch-2). [dc in next dc, ch-2] 11 times. Sl-st to
3rd ch of beg ch-5 to join. [12 dc, 12 ch-2 spaces]
Rows 3: Ch-6 (counts as dc +ch-3). [dc in next dc, ch-3] 11 times. [12 dc,
12 ch-3 spaces]
Rows 4-12: Repeat row 3.
Note: To customize the height holder, add or subtract from rows 4-12 until
the holder is approximately 2.5cm (1”) from the neck of the bottle.
Row 13: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, 3sc in ch-3 space. [sc in dc, 3sc in
ch-3 space] around. Sl-st to first sc to join. [48sc]
Row 14: Ch-1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each of next 3 sc. Sc2tog
