Introduction

Air pollution generated by mining companies is one of the biggest problems, as it seriously
affects both the environment and people exposed to the environment.

In the next report we will look for a solution that helps the ecosystem, either by reusing the
tires so that they do not generate polluting waste.

The accumulation of tires from mining equipment is one of the biggest problems, because
the composition of these cannot be burned by the high percentage of toxic gases it emits.
Studies show that annually the number of discarded tires reach large numbers:
“Used tires are, more of less legally mixed with other waste in landfills. The
number of tires stored in landfills is estimated at one billion of tires.”
(Chibisov, A., 2012)
The composition that causes the burning of tires is highly toxic for health are the following:
“The element composition of tires in percentage; 88,30% Carbon, 7,20%
Hydrogen, 1,64% Sulfur and 2,86% Hierro.” (Galimov, 2010)
The recycling is one of the best solutions to be able to face this problem, since it only
depends on the reduction of the rubber, so that it does not generate toxic residues, that
contaminate the environment, for this the creation of diver trained from the material was
decided of the tire, granting them impermeability, and also the creation of sandals of the
same product obtained from the tires.
The process by which the tires are transformed into the products that we want to obtain is
mechanized by generating small pieces of rubber to be then melted and produce the
material we want for the manufacture of the diver and the sandals.
