Executive Summary

Uniglobe Management Fest 2018 was held with grand success by the college itself on the
date of 25th to 28th February. The main aim of the event is to excel business students of bachelor
level in market exploration and practical knowledge of their field. It is was conducted under
full supervision of the college faculties and members. There are different competition for the
students and among those one is entrepreneurship competition. We the group members are one
of the participants of that competition.

We have planned to make the up-coming Holi celebration different by wearing our holi t-shirt
to play the festival and have fun with friends and families. The festival of color, signifies the
victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and for many a festive day to meet others, play
and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.

1. Finance and Accounting


a. Pre- planning
After acceptance of the business proposal in college, we applied for sponsorship on
various education consultancies, paint companies and restaurants with our business
proposal.
Initial Investment: We received Rs. 10,000 as loan from Uniglobe College. Similarly, we
the members of Holi t-shirt sale Stall invested total of Rs. 15,000.

3. Sales and Marketing


a. Pre- promotion
The business was promoted through digital platform i.e. at the college’s official page,
facebook, instagram, hording board and also by creating the own page for the same,
we advertised about it at personal level, spreading about the business personally to the
friends and family.
b. Pricing
We offered the price for our product holi t-shirt, color and fruits based on market
survey and cost price incurred. The cost of t-shirt also varied according to size.
c. Other Marketing Activities
There was color costing Rs.30 as the gift hamper for the customer answering 'gaukhane
katha'. Along with that, the five lucky costumer was selected as lucky winner for lunch
coupon of worth Rs. 500 each from Fuchhey Restaurant. The customer purchasing in
bulk were provided special discount. We conducted the sales of t-shirt in the college
during the fest as well as at different market places along with certain other college
areas where we get our potential customer. We directly sold those t-shirts to the
customers with word of mouth convincing strategy. We also delivered t-shirt to our
online customer. Along with that we also delivered our t-shirt to Nepaljung through
Airline.
d. Sales factor
Every member of our stall attired with our t-shirt that we were selling. We convinced
our customer regarding cost and quality id t-shirt. We also provided different offers
like lucky coupon, color as gift hamper and special discount to customers. Marketing
is done with the basis of facebook page, instagram and word of mouth.
e. Segmentation and Targeting
The major target of our business were Uniglobe family and also the potential customer
from other colleges.
f . Value proposition
Our holi t-shirt with special Nepali slogan made this holi more memorable and
special. The quality of t-shirt was fair enough to be used on next holi. The additional
stall of fruit salad that was for utilizing the opportunity from market after holi was
fresh and healthy.

4. Other Broader Perspective

a. Survey/research on choice of product/service


In order to grab the festive opportunity of holi, the business of selling holi t-shirt we
considered more profitable and best. In the special occasion of holi every one are
interested to by holi t-shirt. Through research we found prospect customer would be
from our college students that ranges approx. 800-850 and the other faculty members
and staffs number ranges to about 80.

b. Demand dimension of the product in current market


Through market survey we found holi t-shirt is most demanded product in market.
c. Innovative idea/ product of doing business
Only the loan of 10,000 was not financially feasible for investing in t-shirt business
so, we decided to bring sponsor to invest in our business and we also provided various
benefits as mentioned on proposal. Wining color of Rs.30 as gift hamper and lucky
coupon worth Rs.500 each for five customer was the major marketing strategy of our
business.
