1. Introduction
Thank you very much for purchasing BAG FILTER FOR CEMENT
MILL(TDM-TYPE) of SINOMA TECHNOLOGY&EQUIPMENT GROUP CO.,
LTD. In order to help you to use and operate this product in right method, this
user manual is written specially for you. This manual includes installation
sequence, installation method of each part and installation announcements, etc.
This manual is together with installation drawing and installation illustration of
each part to form a suit of installation documents. When installation it must be
corresponding strictly, in strict accordance with correlation technique and
installation instructions for construction, and observant of related national or trade
standards. It would apply to technical guidance for the purchaser, user and
operator during operation. This manual must be in-depth read and understood
before operation.

1.2 Safety Tips
1.2.1 Responsibilities of installation personnel
User and operator of BAG FILTER FOR CEMENT MILL(TDM-TYPE) must
read-through and understand all content in this manual and operate the equipment
according to these requirements, with the purpose of:
Avoid equipment damage and casualties from misoperation;
Prevent rework and sluggish work in installation of equipment;
Ensure the equipment is operated reasonably and can be effective operation
when working.
Ensure installation quality of equipment and meet the design requirements to
make operation and maintenance more easier in the future.

2. Remarks
This instruction manual applies to BAG FILTER FOR CEMENT
MILL(TDM-TYPE). Most parts of the equipment are the basic
configuration and the components marked with “*”are matched according to
the actual conditions of operating mode and operation condition by customer.
For the optional parts, please refer to the operating instructions in the
corresponding location!

3. Installation
3.1 Note
It should be paid special attention to the key components of bag
filter when installation. Quality of installation radically affects the
operation and maintenance of bag filter and service life and its
effect of each component. As follows:
3.1.1 The inspection of installation dimensions and welding seams of this
steel structure shall meet the requirement of the drawings and relative items

stipulated in JC532 “General Technical Specification for the Welded Parts of


Building Material Industrial Machinery”.
3.1.2 All continuous welding seams for hopper and casing shall be air-tight.
After the casing is welded, all continuous welding seams shall be examined by
kerosene penetration test to ensure the airtightness of weld seam.Then all
seams shall be burnished and anti-corrosive treatment.
3.1.3 The installation of cages and bags:
Please install the cages and bags according with the instruction manual
supplied by manufacturer offers. Refer to enclosure.
3.1.4 The installation of exhaust valve
A: The installation of poppet valve :The poppet valve is open when its solenoid
valve is powered off. Adjusting the valve plate to make it closely contact with the
valve seat. Examine the contacting by a 1.5mm feeler gauge to ensure arbitrary
point not to be inserted. Meanwhile, the feeler gauge also can’t be inserted into
the valve plate rotated at 90°, 180°, 270°. Then connect and lock firmly the push
rod with the valve rod of cylinder by two nuts. (Lock the valve rod and the
bracket of poppet valve by breaker bolts when operating around valve plate to
ensure safety.)
B: The installation of air-powered louver valve :The air-powered louver valve
is open when its solenoid valve is powered off. Note that whether the valve plate
and axletrees work well before installation. When installation,the valve and the
casing shall be airtight, making sure the valve won’t be deformation and switches
freely. Adjusting the valve plate by hand to make it work well with inlet
compressed air after installation. Examine that aren’t the valve plates in the right
opening when they are open or close. (Lock the valve rod and the bracket of
poppet valve by breaker bolts when operating around valve plate to ensure safety.)

According to different type of equipment and structural design, the


exhaust valve adopt one kind of the above two, detailed design depend
construction and erection drawing.

3.1.5 The installation of injection device


The following items shall be specially paid attention to: Firstly, the installation
of pulse valve must be careful due to many parts of the pulse valve is exposure.
Note that the membrane shouldn’t be injured and hasn’t any sundries especially
the scrap iron; secondly, the nozzle of injection tube must be aligned the center of
each bag vertically. The verticality and the displacement should be less than 2mm.
But if it is inconformity, remedial measures must be taken to adjust; thirdly,
installation of the whole clean air chamber shall be horizontal detecting by
gradienter and its flatness tolerance is about “±3mm”.
3.2 Works before installation
3.2.1 Check dimensions and quality of civil foundation. If any problem,
rectify them. Fix the anchoring bolts by grouting. Install the support on the
foundations and make them horizontal by level gauge.
3.2.2 Examine each piece as per equipment list. Rectify each part deformed
due to lifting or long-term storing before installation, especially the main parts
such as girders, side walls, end plates and injection box that the length difference
of two diagonals shall be less than 1/1000, and flatness be less than 5mm.
3.2.3 Cages and bags shall be stored properly. The cages shall be laid in
original box and the bags shouldn’t be stored outdoor. Extract 15% cages for test
to seek burr, sealing-off or transformation. If exist, check all of the rest cages,
prohibit using substandard cages!
3.2.4 Purging and oiling all driving parts are referred to per “Installation and
Acceptance Code for Machinery Equipments”.
3.3 Installation sequence and requirement
3.3.1 Installation of support
During support installation, each pillar shall be set up firstly and lash diagonal
brace after leveling.
Due to the accuracy of support is important for the installation of the bag filter,
the installation of support shall be carried out very carefully.
*Span tolerance:±2mm
*Diagonal tolerance:±3mm

*Upright elevation tolerance:±2mm


3.3.2 Installation of girder
It is suggested that adjust and assembly all parts of girder on the site-platform
and then lift it as a whole onto the support. If it is impossible to do on site, lift
girders piece by piece and then weld them together on the supports. Pay attention
to control the tolerance of dimensions, the assembly sequence shall be: transverse
girders the first, and then longitudinal girder; main girder the first, and then minor
girder.
*The inner dimension (length and width) tolerance: +5mm;
*Inner diagonal tolerance: +8mm.
*During installation of girder, upper plane level of girder and flatness tolerance
of the whole girder is about“±3mm”, if any deviation, remedy it.
3.3.3 Installation of hopper
*Hopper shall be on-site hoisting of monolithic.
*Dimension tolerance of the upper edge lateral: -5mm;
*Diagonal tolerance of the upper edge lateral: less than -5mm.
3.3.4 Installation of casing
① Installation of noumenon: Confirm the location of each component by
setting 啊 out before installation; install one row according with drawing
base on one end of bag filter. Install in the sequence of outer side walls,
inner side walls, end walls, comparting walls to form a bag room; according
to the same of above in order until all bag rooms of this row are finished.
Finish installation of the other raw the same as the above( * ). Equip airflow
clapboard and other components to form a whole.

Note: When installation, each plate is fixed position firstly by


intermittent welding. The whole dimension tolerance must be controlled
strictly, may not produce error accumulation. Continuous weld them after
checking out:
*Vertical tolerance of side walls: H/1000(H is the height of side wall),

maximum value shall be less than 6mm.


*Diagonal tolerance of each compartment: 5mm.
*Flatness tolerance of plane on noumenon: 3mm
○2 Installation of clean air chamber: Commonly, clean air chamber is adopted

whole transportation and installation. When installation, according to the


requirement of drawing, case body shall be installed up noumenon. Refer to the
requirement of installation in 3.1.5.
○3 Installation of valve housing and exhaust valve : The outlet pipe of the filter

consists of valve housing and exhaust valve, welding all joints of casing must be
according to the drawing paper when installation. Refer to the requirement of
installation in 3.1.4.
Finish installation of the casing.
3.3.5Installation of air distribution device ( * )
Be strictly in accordance with drawings in construction!
3.3.6 Installation of stairs and platforms
All bolts shall be welded to nuts after installation. Then all seams shall be
burnished.

Note: Handrail shall be painted yellow for worning after


installation stairs and platforms.
3.3.7 Installation of compressed air pipe system
Set the air tanks in right position, and install pulse valve on the air tanks, and
joint the wall bushing and air tanks with steel pipe, then fix the air tanks with
support. Pay attention to that the bolt and nut in foundation of slot hole end shall
be returned half a circle to absorb expansion and shrinkage. Remove all of the
pulse tubes (preparation for the installation of filter bags). Other requirements
refer to 3.1.5.
The installation of compressed air pipe system shall be carried out strictly
according to pertinent regulations, which is supplied for injection deashing of
pulse valve and gas supply of exhaust valve cylinder. All joints shall be firm and

without air leakage. The installation shall be carried out as per piping drawing.
The valve of air tank access only can be opened after the pipeline system is
thoroughly cleaned up. After the pipes for the cylinder are fixed, connect the
cylinder with nylon-hose and quick joints.
All the compressed air pipes shall be cleaned before connected to the
pneumatic devices. It shall be guaranteed that there is no dust, rust, fragment and
other foreign materials inside the pipes.

Note: All seams shall be burnished and pipe shall be


painted yellow for warning after installation.
3.3.9 Installation of gate valve and rotary valve(or double flap valve)
All joints (including casing, hopper) shall be cushioned with reinforced
graphite of 2-3mm to guarantee the air-tightness of the connection. The
connection which could not be dismantled may be gas tightness by continuous
welding seams.
3.3.10 Check all parts of the bag filter thoroughly and remove all foreign
materials (including temporary structure parts, welding bars and cotton, etc) from
the inside of the filter. And then install all of the access doors. Pay more attention
to air-tightness.
3.3.11 Remove all foreign materials in duct in front of bag filter
In order to effectively prevent sundries along with smoke in the pipe system
before dust collector to enter bag rooms to scratching the filter bag when the dust
collector is in operation, it’s necessary to clean up these sundries before filter bags
installation by draught fan. Steps as follow: close all the access doors; open all the
air inlet valves; open all the exhaust valve (ensure the supply of compressed air);
close all the gate valves on the hopper; open all of the valves on the duct in front
of bag filter; open some valves behind bag filter but in front of fan and open fans.
Stop fan after it operates for 10min. Then open access doors, and remove all
foreign materials mainly in clean air chamber and hopper.
3.3.12 Installation of thermal insulation

Thermal insulation should be installed before the installation of bags to prevent


the damage of bags when thermal insulation.
3.3.13 Installation of bags and cages
The installation work shall be carried out only when the sundries have been
removed thoroughly inside the dust collector.
The installation of bags and cages shall be carried out strictly according to item
3.1.3, and protecting sleeve must be used.
Firstly, mold the elastic ring sewing in the upper end of filter bag to be C form
by your hand. Then put it into the hole of injection unit. When the tube sheet hole
is centring with the groove of elastic ring, loosen the elastic ring to force the
upper end of filter bag to be locked with the hole of tube sheet.
Secondly, put cages into bags very carefully. The moving must be slow, and the
impact of bags from cages isn't allowed or the bags are damaged to affect the
service life. Before cages are set into bags, on which burr or outthrust must be
checked and cleared in case the damage of bags. Examine the bottom of bags in
the hopper, and ensure that there is no touching between bags or it must be
dispose at once to guarantee the space of each bags is qualified.
3.3.14 Installation of injection tubes
Install the injection tubes in clean air chamber by positioning bolts. At this time,
please pay attention to strict centring between orifices and the center of filter bag
and the distance between the center of blowpipe and pore plate. Refer to the
requirement of installation in 3.1.5.
3.3.15 Installation of insulated building ( * )
3.3.16 Clear all tools in the air clean chamber, close all access doors and
open all gate valves.
