1. Introduction
Thank you very much for purchasing BAG FILTER FOR CEMENT
MILL(TDM-TYPE) of SINOMA TECHNOLOGY&EQUIPMENT GROUP CO.,
LTD. In order to help you to use and operate this product in right method, this
user manual is written specially for you. Four parts of the manual includes
operational maintenance, overhaul, recovery processing and lubrication. It would
apply to technical guidance for the purchaser, user and operator during operation.
This manual must be in-depth read and understood before operation.

1.2 Safety Tips
1.2.1 Responsibilities of installation personnel
User and operator of BAG FILTER FOR CEMENT MILL(TDM-TYPE) must
read-through and understand all content in this manual and operate the equipment
according to these requirements, with the purpose of:
Avoid equipment damage and casualties from misoperation;
Ensure the equipment is operated reasonably and can be effective operation
when working.

Appeared this identification in the manual means the risk particulars needing
special attention which relevant persons must abide them, or may cause injuries
and property losses.

2. Remarks
This instruction manual applies to BAG FILTER FOR CEMENT
MILL(TDM-TYPE) .Most parts of the equipment are the basic configuration
and the components marked with “*”are matched according to the actual
conditions of operating mode and operation condition by customer. For the
optional parts, please refer to the operating instructions in the corresponding
location!

3. Operation and Maintenance


3.1 Operation sequence
3.1.1 Start sequence (fully open gate valve)
Double flap valve or Rotary feeder→ Fan of the conveying chute( * ) →
Dust-cleaning control program →all inlet valves( (*)
)→ all exhaust valves → Fan
behind dust chamber.
3.1.2 Stopping procedure
Fan behind dust chamber → all exhaust valves → all inlet valves ( * )→
Dust-cleaning control program → Grate valve →Fan of the conveying chute
( * )→ Rotary feeder or Double flap valve

Note: Do not turn off the other components immediately but in 2


hour after the fan behind dust chamber is turned off!
3.2 Maintenance

3.2.1 Check up compressed air pipe, air filter, whether pipeline is air leakage
and promptly eliminate waste residue and ponding in filter once a day.
3.2.2 Check up air tank once a day about that whether the joints are air
leakage, whether each instrument is normal, whether safety valve is turned off,
whether pulse valve is air leakage and etc. If any problem, treat them. Open
blowoff valve of every air tank to discharge for 1min then close the valve.
3.2.3 Check dust-discharger twice per shift. If any problem, repair in time.
3.2.4 Check the dust-cleaning program once per half month. (Manually check
whether each pulse valve acts normally, especially in cold region. When
compressed air has too much moisture, pay attention to heat preservation of pulse
valve to prevent frostbite.)

4. Repair

When the dust emission is abnormal, debug it in time. If the broken


bags aren't plugging or off-line in time, the dust leaking from the crevasse
may enter the clean air chamber. Under the effect of injecting pressure air,
the dust will be induced into clean filter canister of intact bag. Of a long time,
the other fine bags will be also damaged what is called “Sausages
Phenomenon”.
4.1 The method of determining the damaged bag room
When the dust emission is abnormal, firstly, judge which dust chamber is
stoppage. Methods: a. Close a exhaust valve each time (about 5min), observe
whether the emission is weaken. If so, it is suggested that the bag room
corresponding with this valve is fault.. b. If each bag room is equipped with
aerosol mass monitor, it could be judge which bag room has damaged bag quickly
( * ) by it. It is suggested that close the exhaust valve of the dust chamber having
broken bag and set this room to overhaul state on the dust-cleaning control device
leading the failure actuation of pulse valve. It could be on-line overhauled. When

there are more than two bag rooms appear the phenomenon of bag broken,
overhaul must be carried out after stop the cement mill
4.2 On-line maintenance
During cement mill is running, prohibit any on-line maintenance of equipment.
So, any maintenance only should be done during out of service period to reduce
operation negative pressure. Before overhaul certain bag room, safety precautions
should be taken as follows:
Set the state of bag room which is ready to overhaul to be overhaul state on
dust-cleaning control program (refer to dust-cleaning control program
introduction). At this time, the exhaust valve of this room will be closed and the
corresponding pulse valve will also be in inoperation state;
Close the exhaust valve of this bag room(each bag room have one or two
exhaust valves) and bolt and nut shall be used to lock it at off-position, then cut
off air supply of compressed air;
Close the corresponding inlet valve and ensure every hand shank of inlet valve
is located at the off-position and lock then ( * );
Clean up deposition in hopper and conveying chute ( * ), then cut off fan of
conveying chute ( * ), rotary feeder under hopper;
Close inlet valve of air tank in overhaul room and open blowoff valve under air
tank to exhaust all compressed air in air tank to maintain the pressure of 0Pa;
Open access doors of hopper, bag rooms and clean air chamber;
When the temperature and fresh air condition are suitable, enter clean air
chamber to check damaged bag. Mouth of the damaged bag usually gathers
some dust. Check up carefully and replace damaged bags by new bags. At the
end of the job, check clean air chamber and inner of hopper and clear up
foreign matters;
Close and lock up all of the access doors;
Open all valves(include inlet valves ( * ), outlet exhaust valve, compressed air
valve of cylinder, inlet valve of air tank);
Open fan of the conveying chute and rotary feeder (or double flap valve)
Reset the state of bag room which has been finished maintenance to be

operative mode on dust-cleaning control program.

Note: Any improper entrance to enter bag rooms on operation


mode will result in heat hurt, dust hurt, CO2 suffocation or high pressure air
hurt!
For the dust chamber without inlet valve, in order to guarantee personal
safety and avoid accidents, on-line overhaul is not recommended!

4.3 Middle-repair and overhaul


Middle-repair shall be carried out after 6 months of operation when operation
of cement mill system is stopped, lasting about 1~3 days, including:
4.3.1 Open access doors on the lateral of clean air chamber, enter the clean air
chamber to check whether there is soot formation at the bag mouth. If any, it is
indicated that the bag may be broken, dispose it in time; if the equipment has
access door, enter bag room to check the basic information;
4.3.2 Check dust-cleaning effect: check the condition of dust shed and
whether the direction of circumference and length of bag is uniformity; check
whether there is abnormal soot formation in the bottom of hopper, if any, dispose it
in time.
4.3.3 Check whether reading of each gauge is correct. If abnormal, repair the
damaged parts.
4.3.4 Check whether the operation of cylinder is normal.
4.3.5 Check whether the pulse valve acts reliably and normally, whether
safety valve of gas tank and blowoff valve are normal;
4.3.6 Check whether the filter element of the air filter need replace, whether
reducing valve is normal;
4.3.7 Check whether opening of inlet valve is appropriate; ( * )
4.3.8 Check whether outlet valve is opened freely;
4.3.9 Check whether data display of pressure difference between the gas

inlet and outlet is right .


4.3.10 Check whether on-line aerosol mass monitor system of outlet is
normal; ( * )
4.3.11 Check whether level gage of hopper is normal; ( * )
4.3.12 Manual inching of each pulse valve to judge whether pulse valve acts
normally.
After one year of operation, overhaul shall be carried out. The lasting period
depends on the contents needed for repair. The overhaul must be added damage
check item more than middle-repair. If any rusty parts, treat them.

5. Trouble-shooting
